Mike, that road bike tire normal pressure is 100psi. it will easily puncture if having less pressure. it will take you few days to acclimatize with malaysia's weather and cycling in the afternoon. all the best to your journey and enjoy.
I doubt any Malaysian in their right mind would undertake such a journey as we are in the middle of a heat wave, the hottest time ever. Good luck to you and stay safe!
I think instead of Singapore better if u make a journey from KL to the east coast like Terengganu. The journey will be more challenging but the scenery will be much better, the mountains, the east coast beach 🏝 maybe next time, journey from KL to Pulau Perhentian by bicycle 👌
