As a Boy Scout we used to camp here. We would set up camp and spend all of our free time exploring. The closing picture is very familar. There was rumored to be a tunnel connecting all the bunkers but we were never able to find it. I did get into the ventlation system and almost crashed and burned a number of times. But it was fun watching and spooking the groups of scouts that went by below by lighting off firecrackers behind them, man what a sound. This was 50 years ago so I would think that things have changes some.

My dad would take us there as kids. There used to be a lot more buildings back then. One time, I found a grenade on the beach! They closed the beach and sent everyone home. lol Great Video!

Line of Sight my buddy works there now. With the changing beaches, they’re always finding unexplored munitions. New Jersey bomb squad gets a lot of OT there! Lol

Awesome video Patrick!! I camped at Battery Mills as a kid a long time ago. We were never able to get inside the bunker. Always wondered what it looked like in there. Kinda scary! Thanks for sharing!!

Are you permitted to be in these buildings freely? Or were you trespassing. I want to go, but don’t want to be breaking any laws.

I've seen some of these bunkers but could never get in but the way we had our structures in place makes you wonder how come Germany didnt try attacking their technology was highly superior in the time they used it on other countries but not ours this is interesting
