I've been to Miller and Carter a couple of times and they've never disappointed, great quality :)
Glad I watched this.In my town a Harvester has just closed down and is re opening as a Miller and Carter so really looking forward to trying it now.Thanks for a great video.

I've never heard of this chain of restaurants, and I'm glad you had my favourite steak, fillet. It looked absolutely gorgeous, I was salivating watching you cut into it. Loved the video.
I’m glad you poms are back in to dining in restaurants again, here in Sydney Australia we have to wait until the 11th of October.
I might go to this restaurant if I go up to The UK, so watching your vids for a week during Covid has given some ideas cheers.

Miller and carter on frederick street in edinburgh is one of my wife and i favorite places to go for anniversaries and birthdays .never had a bad steak meal and the staff are great .
Never been to Miller and Carter but I like the fact that it's steak with all the trimmings included in the price and the service looked great as well
Ate in the St Vincent Street Glasgow branch a week or so ago and agree with your comments.
Food was excellent and the service brilliant.
It is a special occasion type of place but not in the least bit stuffy.
Also like you can get a mini dessert with a tea or coffee.
Strange they don't list their wine prices on the website which makes you think it will be scary expensive but then you find they have good house wines for the £20 mark & prpsecco for a fiver a glass which is great value for a city centre. Will definitely be going back for a treat in a month or two.
Great video as usual, keep them coming. Been to Miller and Carter at several venues many times. Never had a bad meal in any of them.
There's a miller and carter down the road from my parents. Think I'll try and persuade them to take me there for my birthday meal. Great video again.
Great review and like you said a pleasant surprise with a chain restaurant in the UK. The steak meal looked fab and prices seemed to reflect that it’s a bit more upmarket chain of restaurants than your standard pub grub. There’s a Miller & Carter nearby too so will,have to try it based upon this vdo…thx again!! BTW the iPhone vdo seems ok.
I'm glad you are liking this time of year... For me, October to Christmas is my favourite time of the year in the UK now as I get older, as long as we don't get rain constantly. It cools down but not too cold and has that nice cold snap to the mornings. I don't know why some people hate Christmas because I don't think I could get through winter without the festive period to look forward to. January and February are just miserable and too cold in the UK though lol and best spent abroad in the sun!

Miller and Carter is our favourite place. We have never had a bad experience and it’s always busy. They know how to cook a good steak. Staff are great, I know that as I used to work in one. I always have a fillet and it’s always perfect. Great chain

Let me reiterate, it's the "first point of contact "when you are greeted with a warm welcome..!!! You are at ease.. Wow! The presentation was spot on & the service well " if you enjoy your job, you radiate positivity "..The hospitality industry is resilient & proud to be a part of it..! The Steak looked awesome, the thick honey grain sauce cooked to perfection etc...!!! I enjoy my steaks well done but a good review.. 😊😊🇮🇳
Love a Miller and Carter. Been too many around the North West but a absolutely loved the one in Leeds. Service was second to none. And the food amazing. I knew before the video started that you would love it here 👍👍
We have eaten at Miller and Carter at Garforth Leeds and we really enjoyed our steaks , couldn’t fault it
Another great video from the MacMaster, that stake looked perfect and it is hard to find a good place that cooks stake well, the whole experiance looked good and I would like to go with friends and family, Take care Lee and keep safe..

On presentation I would say a 9. Looked a good all round nice meal. Always nice to have nice staff, definitely contributes to the whole meal experience, good review Lee.

Looked good Lee - I have been to a M&C before, the only issue I had was the lettuce in the bowl, which was swimming in water, not a deal breaker though. Nice snappy Vlog, thank you👍👏👌🍻

Hey Lee! To what you say about driving and other road users. I have never been a slow driver. Had to chuckle when with your sister in a Vlog not long ago. She was telling you off for driving too fast. That’s me! In fact I was nicknamed Ms Mansell when learning to drive. So your bug bear about slow starts from lights I get what you mean lol
Anyway to Miller and Carter I have never been but I’ve heard it’s pretty expensive. You weren’t wrong about that but seems decent for what you had there. Everything you had looked amazing especially that onion loaf. I was going to ask what that was as it looked like a long hash brown.

Just FYI @The MacMaster! From what I could see from your excellent presntation and camera work I'd give it a 9.5/ 10. What let it down slightly for me was that side dish of iceberg lettuuce with those little pink things stuck to it. For me it didn't look that appertising. The chips, steak and onion loaf looked great though. Never been to a Millar and Carter before so thanks for showing us what its like both venue and food. Cheers Mr Mac Master.

The good lady and I went to the Bristol (Clifton) restaurant. We had the Chateaubriand to share with buttered greens and all the usual stuff. It was very nice, great service the place was immaculate and the food was spot on👌
Best Steakhouses in the UK as seen in this latest vlog of yours. Food & service looked amazing. Not the cheapest but what quality. My nearest is Rothley in Leicestershire. Must try it. 👍

I’ve only been to one, just the once in the mailbox in Birmingham. I had the steak with the beef dripping sauce and that was to die for 👍👍👍😋😋😘. I’d give it a 10 just by the look of it. I know that you can’t please everyone as we all like our steak differently. As I love mine well done

Have been in Glasgow one and the 2 Edinburgh ones, both were top notch, the Glasgow one is in the old Post Office, surroundings are plush!
I have a Miller & Carter steak house near where I used to live. Can highly recommend them. Although they are not the cheapest well worth the price. Lee your steak looked good, may I suggest you try their 50-day aged one next time. The best steak I have ever eaten. Well worth the extra price. Good vlog as usual.

I've been to the one in Grantham and food was great there also. Prices are high for a chain but this is a much better standard than chain food.
I’ve never heard of Miller and Carter but the ambience looks exactly like a 1970s Bernie steakhouse. Apart from that the food looks bang on the money. As for the price , we’ll I’ve lived in Vietnam for 10 years so the UK looks really expensive to me now .
That looked a world away from the London Angus steakhouse (no 4am video lol) looked absolutely delicious , onlything I thought was that the server seemed to rush speaking , but looked great 🤘🏴🦐
I been to M&C alone quite alots I have to say their steak always taste delicious and very good quality cut! Beautiful luxury dining. Nice and Friendly staff, great service. Can't go wrong for the price! One of the best steakhouse in my opinion!
The Miller Carter Steak house is my kind of place. Very nice decore and meal presentation.
Fair revue there and nice to mention the staff, from what I saw, Emily was polite, efficient and, impotantly, infomative and knew what was on offer.. not pushy.
For a chain it was well presented and looked good...if only I was tasting it !
I had a miller and carter wasn’t expecting much but was better than expected I’d go again my best is smoky joes in Torquay highly recommended

Before I watched this video I was worried what you were going to say about M&C, because I think they’re brilliant! And they’re the same company as Harvester and Toby Carvery you know! Just make sure you get the beef dripping next time and soak your onion loaf in it 👌🏼😋

Went to Miller & Carter a few weeks ago, weekday lunch menu 2 course for £15, was my first visit to a M&C and was very impressed. Obviously evening menu is more expensive but your steak looked really good at £32 not a bad price

MM👍that looked bang on,juicy steak,chips looked great (but limited)Mac,they knew you were coming you order peppercorn sauce and you get a pan instead of a little white jug!😂onion thing seemed interesting,not sure about the iceberg wedge but it obviously worked. Price point was good for a decent steak,nice looking venue I think seeing you polish that off then has to be 10/10✌️👍🍻
That steak looked good, have been to Miller and Carter in the past but obviously not for a while. Did that one start off as a Harvester, a couple near us were refurbished from Harvesters. Looking forward to your Ireland vlogs.

Haven't been to m&c but that looked really good. Never seen an onion loaf either so it was all a bit novell. Price seemed very good for what you got. 👍 good job - video in car good quality

That steak looked amazing and delicious the peppercorn sauce looked spot on never had onion loaf but I'm thinking I need to try it chips looked perfect I'll give it a solid 10 and that restaurant is definitely on my visit list as long as I don't get stuck behind a certain driver at traffic lights 😋

Looked really nice (particularly that "refreshing-looking" wedge salad which looked a perfect palate cleanser.
I am surprised (after the Angus Steakhouse) that you could face a similar steak dinner. That almost made ME sick THROUGH the Internet! Good to see a place that is "doing things right." In my youth I was always a huge fan of "Brown's" (which wasn't a chain then, well, a "chain" of two: Brighton & Oxford. Have you ever reviewed them? I have very fond memories of their salads in wooden bowls and American cocktails (LONG before they were a trend outside of the US). ---Mike

I work for a large National American steak restaurant. Many of our guests are English so I decided to check it out on youtube.
As a fussy salad eater (or I don't like most of it ,or sauces) the wedge looked nice.
Steak and chips also looked nice and plenty of pepper sauce.
Add a pud and a pint and for £45 each it's a nice posh meal out. 👍
And the place and decor looked well looked after,as I suspect were the toilets?
on the back of this vid I'm taking the wife to the one local to me.. never been but looks quality :)

That looked like a good dinner at a reasonable price. I love the iceberg lettuce wedge salad . . . a steakhouse cliche'. The 5 pound tip works out to 16%. I believe servers in the UK earn a regular wage so that is a good tip.
we have a miller & carter in doncaster , i worked on base for a taxi firm and all the customers who went to m&c rated it very good !
I have one of these very close to me. I am a butcher, so I know my meat, and I have had only ONE bad steak from the one near me. I go there multiple times a year. I am a big fan, and the dripping sauce is insanely good. edit: posted this under another comment but i repeat: asking for fillet steak medium is sacrilege. Get a sirloin or ribeye (ribeye is the best steak you can purchase in most steakhouses). Fillet steak is rare or blue, nothing else. edit2: so glad you were positive about the staff, so nice to see people like you being positive about staff

I've been to the Worcester Park branch of Miller & Carter and I have to say I was pretty impressed with the steak..and the onion loaf was really great.
Overall I rate the steak 8 out of 10
Black Forest gateau for dessert back in the 80s good old days .
