@@Arizmi That's interesting. I suppose what a person is used to doing probably seems the easier way. From my perspective boiling several eggs in one medium sized pot seems simpler but they definitely don't look as nice! Also some people have a hard time peeling the shell off cooked eggs. 🤷♀️
@keagangrahamcallis7857As far as poaching goes I didn't realize it was done till the yolks were that hard. I was just sharing my experience and mentioned where I was from - wasn't trying to make it about the US, YOU did that.

And the way eggs are being cooked on this channel doesn't seem common to me at all, or easy. Regardless, it's not really that important. I was just saying. Didn't realize it would be so annoying.

做个荷包蛋最后要洗几个碗?几个锅?
太費時,也要洗很多碗盤,浪費水,吃火鍋也一樣。
正確來說用水蒸的蛋, 不叫荷包蛋是水煮蛋. 荷包蛋永遠都是煎的. 像牛肉一樣, 有生熟之分.
各地方叫法不同吧。
我们那边是这样的。
水煮蛋:连壳一起煮。(蛋黄未煮透叫溏心蛋)
荷包蛋:把蛋打开去壳放锅里煮(蛋黄未煮透叫溏心蛋)
不打散的煎蛋:把蛋打开去壳,放少量油煎(蛋黄未煮透叫溏心蛋)
打散的煎蛋:把蛋打开去壳并搅拌使蛋清蛋黄混合,放适量油煎,成为一个蛋饼。可以直接吃,也可煮汤,也可用锅铲分成小块吃或煮汤。
蒸蛋:把蛋打开去壳并搅拌使蛋清蛋黄混合,放蒸锅里蒸到凝固定形。
蛋花汤:锅里水烧开,把蛋打开去壳并搅拌使蛋清蛋黄混合后徐徐少量的倒入沸水里。
今天也是第一次看到蒸的荷包蛋,个人觉得荷包蛋应该是依形态而命名,而不是依烹饪方式来命名吧。其实不伦是水煮还是加水蒸都是在水中加热烹熟所以形态口感差别不大。油炸的话形态口感差别就明显了。所以油炸叫煎蛋比较合适,当然叫煎荷包蛋也是可以的吧。
不是煎的就不能叫荷包蛋,這做法只能叫水蒸蛋而且沒有蛋香

In the US we boil our eggs inside the shell then peel the shell off once it's turned solid.
It's not as much of a cultural difference as it is a move towards simplicity. This is way cleaner and simpler of a method
