I think it’d be redundant since only a final attack devastating enough to break through all defences will result in a victory. The first 10 minutes are just padding.
i disagree. until now i haven't seen a mikan match with this mechanic where it isn't a "lose first and kill the disadvantaged opponent with your boost" match. why even do all the stuff beforehand if the boost straight up kills? that's not a good balancing.

Offence is also defense in these, so if 90% of the balls are going to one side not only does it get a good attack off, but the other side has practically nothing it can defend with for another ~30 seconds until wedge moves back over and the balls finish bouncing around.
It mostly had to do with the multipliers that made sure that the wave kept growing at a faster rate then it died out, but it would never have worked without the lasers.
It's more fun to pick your color before things get going, I always pick red, but there's nothing at stake so there's nothing to get upset about when you loose

I want more replays of this, it seems like there could be a ton of re watchability, as well as maybe making each powerup do something unique based on what is before it or something

I always know that if that final music is playing then some sort of over the top ridiculous death wave of an attack will be coming on the beat drop, and I start playing a guessing game on who will be the one to do so. I saw myself timing those final mixes to see which one will be the one. I saw blue almost win and I was like "Well ok then" and the search started, then I looked at red and the only thin I remember thinking was "Oh... Oh shit..." and then it was unleashed and I immediately thought "No stop he's already dead!" As it continued to multiply.
Holy heck that end. Gotta love Mikan with his comebacks, especially the music syncing with final attacks! There can only be one amazing algodoo youtuber, and you win by a landslide.

This is honestly one of the best ideas. All of the other ideas are good, but this is excellent. I could see this coming back with better abilities and better combos.
Took a while to figure out what happened at the end, there were so many lasers at such a powerful level that the volume didn't even matter. That was a great ending

We then got to work on this and it seemed MIKAN saw us with his stuff and he approved of what we were thinking. Now we're hoping to see what we do with us mixing all of these things. Here's to red on our experiment...

10:20 is probably the best shot in the whole match!!! Blue gained some serious ground right there! Edit: Actually, I stand corrected. 10:45 is the _TRUE_ best shot, because that was practically IMPOSSIBLE to survive from!!!
If the blue shot had one more multiply it would have ended the game. It didn't have enough to sustain it all the way across the map. Red's shot had 2 multiply--allowing it to sustain itself to the other end.
