Unhappy camper moment: Remembered the tent, forgot the tent poles. We decided to “sleep under the stars” and it ended up raining all night. We eventually just said “screw it” and drove to the nearest hotel.

When I taught middle school I had a kid fall asleep in class and I turned back the clock and got all of my students in the hallway... I don't know the person who tweeted that, but I totally did it to a class of 6th graders.

A teacher at my school had a rather unusual and loud way to celebrating student's birthdays. She would step onto a chair then onto a desk and do a dance while singing the birthday song! I was reading the newspaper in the library once, and she started doing that and I was banging my head on the table like "why is this happening to me?!" She was my homeroom teacher for the whole of 2008!

At 2:52 Jimmy mentions a boy who fell asleep in class which I can relate to, as I fell asleep next to a wall heater on a really cold day and the science teacher let me sleep and ushered out my classmates and and ushered in the next class. At about 5 minutes into the next class I woke up and realized I was not seeing anyone I knew. Everyone was laughing and they started calling me sleeping beauty, I don't know about the beauty part as I still believe I could break cameras and mirrors, but it took me a long time to live that one down.
I love this show, it made me happy and loss my worries, stay safe💓
A kid at my school once said “men come to our house and give my mum money” turned out she was renting out one of the rooms as a bed and breakfast. 🤣

I had a VICS inhaler (the thing with the felt or cotton piece inside soaked in menthol to clear a stuffy nose that you stick in your nose and sniff) when I was in 6th grade. I broke it opened and stuck the menthol soaked felt/cotton piece in the heater vent and when the blowers turned on the room filled with menthol, tearing eyes and clearing noses!
I gotta find someone who looks at me the way that kid looks at that mannequin

The sour patch kid story was hilarious!😎😂 Reminded me of when my ex & I were together, we were hanging out the one night and we're talking about food or something. I made a comment about how the way he was sitting in the corner of the couch, the spots right smack-dap on top of his shoulders by the bottom of his neck looked like little bowls u could put food or goodies or jellybeans in (note: those bowl shaped areas had NOTHING in them). I looked away for literally like a second & when I looked back there was a yellow jellybean in the left one😂😂😂😂

One time in Health class, my junior year I believe, we were learning stuff about sexual health, this day was on abstinence. The teacher asked the class for advice, and my normally very shy, quiet friend raised her hand. When the teacher called on her, she said "boys, keep your rocket in your pocket" and I've never seen a whole class, including a teacher, erupt in such laughter, half the class fell to the floor. I think it was mostly out of pure shock because of how notoriously shy my friend was lol
I got another one. This was a social studies/history class, and I think it was my freshman year. We were reading out of a book and the teacher made us take turns to read paragraphs. This one girl had pronounced marijuana "mare-idge-jah-wana" and literally all the boys in the class would not stop laughing for 10 minutes, I think one of them even got in trouble.
That same girl a year later got into a legit hair pulling, slamming faces into the wall fight with one of my friends in a science class, all over a chair lol. I can't remember the whole story, but I think my friend had either sat in the other girls seat (we didn't have assigned seating), or she pulled the chair out from underneath her. All I knew was one minute the class was quiet, then the next they were pulling each other's hair and the girl was slamming my friends face into the wall lol. They were both fine obviously but were definitely sent to the principal's office.
Here's a cute "my kid is weird" one. This wasn't my kid, but my roommate's 3 year old. She called butterflies "butt flies" lol. She also couldn't pronounce my cat Sasha's name, calling her "saw-shit" instead.
One time in class, my 9th grade science teacher got permission to bring in her toddler son because she had issues securing child care. Some of the kids in my class tried being polite and asking him questions like his name, favorite food, etc. He always responded with "The voices" or "I'm Batman". Eventually our teacher said " He's to be seen and not spoken too." That was a weird day. 😂

#UnhappyCamper - I was charged for reckless driving and disturbing the peace for giving kids a 15mph ride while singing. And the attorney who cheated me when I was almost killed by that town's 20-ton sander truck (also getting a $500 referral fee I had to pay, not the damn attorney who made straight cream for doing nothing but help the evil town and not even administer my rights) charged me another $500 because "it felt right' rather than have the feloneius charges removed!

I'm home schooled and my mom is my teacher. So #onetimeinclass we were doing flashcards in geography, and we were to name the country that matched the capital, so mom's turn she sees the capital: Kabul and with great confidence says argentina. I half way get to my card and I go wait, what? Turns out she meant Afghanistan!
