I have my friend's Math books from when he was a Grad student and if a book is named "Elementary..." or "Intro to 'Something' Theory" then there is NOTHING elementary about it. 📚 Also, do you have any tips on how I should react if I am studying eigenvalues/ eigenvectors and someone sees the book cover and says "aw, how cute; you're learning 'Elementary Linear Algebra!' I had 'Pre-Algebra' so I can 'like totally' help you, like 'totes me-gotes!?'" 🤷🏼♀️ Cuz I gave her a blank stare for 5 seconds and said "Now I know what to use for mulch in my tomato garden." She backed out of the room very slowly. Just kidding! It's actually a tomato/pepper/eggplant garden...why grow just 1 vegetable? Hi, with the background in math and physics from the courses in Electrical Engineering, I think you can self - study the upper-level Physics courses (textbooks, online resources or online classes), take the Physics GRE or other kinds of qualification tests and apply for Master’s degree in Physics

He's not an engineer. And probably has very little knowledge of what the prospects are even in his own field. These things fluctuate. You'll find a job. Might not be in your exact field of study. But it will be there. Good luck
I'll be surprised if you don't get docked points for just taking a picture of the blackboard. You're in grad school, write your work in LaTeX. Not only for the instructor but to have a clean digital copy for yourself to review at a later date.
