I just visited Ghana for 12 Days. It was extraordinarily educational and spiritual. The people are the most welcoming people I have experienced on my travels. I didn't party much but traveled the country quite a bit. The people are great, especially in the villages. I hated leaving and will be back!!

Visiting in a few months for the first time as a black American with my boyfriend that was born and raised in Ghana. We literally had this conversation and I told him I only want to support Ghanaian owned businesses during my visit. With all the tourism the economy should be doing well.

That was a very important conversation. The transparency about the impact of entertainment on the economy is what people need to hear. I loved your answers because you spoke from both perspectives. I trust that it will make people be more conscious of how they can help more than hurt the situation.

You just love complaining African American will complain even when you’re in Paradise. I know guys in Ghana back in those days at HOLLYWOOD club next to honey suckle at the A&C mall spend $10,000 a night on bottles.
Ghana is Not cheap Ghana is a Rich country if you guys wants cheap detty December then get you desperate black complaining ass to Doomed and gloom Rwanda lol.
Ghana surrendered with black Excellence so if you think you’re coming from America to be a King or a Queen then you’re mistaking Ghana is well advanced

Good points. I don't want to see Ghana get washed out and loose it's culture. We need balance. The government and businesses that encourage that "Miami vibe" need to be held accountable too.

The guy who brought the gun to the Ghanaian club is a fool nd must be dealt with. Cant bring that same nonsense that is destroying the black community in the west into ghana. What was his reason to even bring that gun to a place of enjoyment? He must not know ghana, the authorities dont play with that nonsense

Lets stop deceiving ourselves. See how Ivory Coast is developing, even republic of Benin is transforming wonderfully. Some of us Ghanaians talk alot, mean while we've been stagnant for ages.

This is so silly. People are going to do what people do. You can't legislate how people appreciate a place. It's completely pointless

So, this Ghanaian woman is criticizing "vacationers" for not building in Ghana, but she's been living in America for 28 yrs & has not built anything with Black Americans. Make it Make sense.

U comparing building in a whole african country to building with black America when the whole economy in America is controlled by the white folks so how can u expect a Ghanaian to just come nd do that. Maybe if black America had their own city then it's possible because many Ghanaian diaporans are contributing to the American economy.
