Check out Hussein Nasser's (I hope I'm spelling his name right) course on Databases. It is on Udemy, and is mostly on sale. Raj and Hussein are the two of my go-to people for all things related to Software Engineering.
For the load balancer URL, shouldn't it be a CNAME record in route 53 which points to the FQDN of the load balancer? I don't think A record is correct here
First one to comment ✋ Asusal you are awesome... Great content and relevant. Keep it coming Raj👍 Also am going thro your EKS course in Udemy. It's great.. Thank you ..

Yes Hari , correct - A records are for IP mapping - but ALB IP mappings change due to dynamic scaling so its recommended to use CNAME/Alias to the ALB DNS name rather than ALB Ips - not sure about this on the API Gateway side - but yeah - AWS alwasy gives DNS names for resources and one should prefer setting mappings to those DNS names
In Route 53, an A record can resolve a domain to an IP address, but it can also resolve to an AWS resource by hitting the 'Alias' radio button. There is no separate alias record type.
Hi Raj, just needed your clarification, does Amazon Aurora by default replicates across AZ within a region? In your other video : th-cam.com/video/nMSp3ygB5F0/w-d-xo.html, you had mentioned that Native databases like aurora out of the box is Multi-AZ. One copy of data is saved into multiple AZ. In this video, you mentioned "by default, no, you can choose Multi-AZ deployment for additional cost. Thank you for your great videos.

Hi Raj, I have purchased your @Rocking Systems Design Course. Have been asked this question a lot time and failed to answer. Question: Customer want to adopt Cloud, what will be your response and how will you ensure smooth migration. Requesting you to make a video on such typical question and appropriate answers!
One correction for the Automated Unit testing. If you are using Lambda to call actual code, this is integration test, not unit test.
Thank you Raj, you are giving valuable guidance through your channel and Udemy courses. 🙏
Thank you Raj. Like your content. Can you please upload a video on your client engagement framework. Thanks.

It's cant be a A record right. I can be CName Or alias record.
With CNAME you can send the traffic to another hosted zone (url), "A" record allows you to send it to AWS services ( load balancer/API Gateway)
