I don't think he is overused for player base tho. He is good with character who use NA a lot but bc in tcg, Vape is worse reaction than Overload, imo. So, I see Hu Tao and Yoimiya play with Raiden, Yae or Fischl more.
Even when Hu Tao come out in tcg, I never use her with XQ. I pair her with Kokomi(healer is nice turn base like TCG.) or Raiden(to get to her burst faster), Fischl(Overload is nice and Fischl's burst is AoE) or Candace (apply hydro just by switching)

Seeing stuff like this is impressive. A part of me wants to like the TCG more, but I have 1 comp that I use for 90% of NPC stuff so I can get the weekly coin rewards, and every time I play a match I reach peak anxiety levels ingame as my heart rate jumps to over 9000

My hu tao deck is rather unique but has very high win rate, it's burst hu tao deck with 2 electro characters, filled with many crazy energy cards i want you to fight against this deck.

honestly my favorit hutao game play is DPS Hutao
Just go with hutao all the way with some decent healing and TOTM artefact for shield
Always able to one shoot almost everyone, her only weakness is if being swapped by overload, or Sucrose skill and Jean Skill
