They just use the most perfect music in this show. I swear, half of my iPod's music comes from this show.
This was so unfair for Sarah to put Chuck through this. He shoots, he loses Sarah. He doesn't shoot, he doesn't become a spy and (in his mind) He loses Sarah to Shaw. So unfair......
It's not Sarah doing this - it's the CIA and I don't think he loses Sarah if he's not a spy. What I see is Sarah is really telling him not to do it. She says: 'and then you'll be Chuck, there's nothing wrong with that'.

Irrespective of what really happens to the mole, don't you think it's a lose lose for Chuck with regard to Sarah, if he doesn't kill the mole he won't become a spy so they can't be together, with which Sarah replied "probably not" but if he kills the mole then Sarah won't want to be in his life because he's changed and killed, for Chuck this is quite a negative outcome.
Alot the CIA does to him is negative in the end. Because they don´t protect him, they protect themselves. However, that makes it ever more important and special that Sarah choses him anyway, and even more happily when he does not kill the mole. She is the one who makes all this CIA stuff tolerable.
Sarah is the most pivotal character.
She choses him, spy or not. I agree with you, just try to add the positive turn. She is the positive turn, she always is...
