cool channel, just found one of your #shorts on my homepage this morning and ventured on into your channel to see what you had to offer and l totally dig it. l love climbing trees too, been trimming n removing trees for almost 27 years but never get a chance to rec climb. your channel totally inspired me to take advantage of my days off and get up in a tree to just relax n think. thanx, for the inspiration and good luck with your channel. with your energy and positive outlook, you’ll blow up before you know it.
    best of luck.👊🏼

The hipstar flex is a great lanyard. I have the older CE lanyard and it's very versatile. Nice video

Once again a great instructional video just wondering why we don’t actually see much of you doing tree work is that because your boss doesn’t let you film such a shame if so.

Thank you! I have been trying harder to remember to use my GoPro at work, it’s almost always in my bag but I just always forget to put it on and end up doing something cool without it. I’m trying though and hopefully I’ll have a video like that soon.

Hi mate, rope description is incorrect. 16 strand cover dependent (there is 16 strand double braid), 24 strand refers to one type of double braid (there are more), kernmatle means cover and core (16 and db are both kernmantle). Many parallel core with core dependent strength can be spliced.

Have you ever tried the The hipster by Thomson tree tools? It has plates more like a Unicender.

I have not, it looks like a great tool. I do have a Unicender and the only thing I don’t like about it is how hard it is to pull out slack with the lack of a pulley and I’m concerned I’d have the same issues with the hipster.

I could never pay attention with that unclipped chin strap

Hahaha, yeah it happens a lot. When I notice it I fix it, but when it’s so cold all the layers on my head make it hard to like keeping it buckled
