    My husband and i are planning on moving back having lived there years ago as a child. Perfectly safe for families who actually want their family to be safe. We are done with the UK. Everything you said was just complete facts. Wish you the best we look forward to seeing more updates on the move. Good luck 🤞

    The problem with Dubai aside from the heat is that it's not only full of people I'd like to meet but also a lot of people I wouldn't like to meet.

    People don't have a clue how great Dubai is, and the UK want it that way. If they knew, they've leave just like we both have. Dubai is the best city in the world if you value happiness and wealth and freedom and safety. Simple

    Dubai is great for entrepreneurs. Not sure I could live there as the legal system doesn't operate in a way that would suit me, but its very appealing for safety, finance, facilities.

    Great summary of the UK's problems. I believe the best thing would be for the government to mess things up and go bust. Then the government (whichever party is in control) would be forced to slash the welfare state, which is the root cause of most issues in the UK.
    I live in Brazil, where I make a good living and pay 9% tax. There's also a sales tax, but it's still a great deal. If you choose carefully, you can find nice and safe cities and towns here. The people are very friendly, relaxed and affable. There's no toxic culture of drunk lads looking for fights in the evenings.

    As a fellow Brit who now lives abroad, I have to say that I also could never live in Dubai. I find it to be the most soulless, plastic and gauche place i’ve ever been. There are many places where i’d rather live and be able to get preferential tax treatment. If I were forced to live anywhere in the gulf, it would be in Oman, definitely not any of the emirates.

    • @darioquacquarelli
      @darioquacquarelli  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Understandable. Not everybody has to have the same opinion. You're more than entitled to your own views and opinions, and free to act accordingly. Wishing you the best of luck wherever that may be in the world :)

    And another thing is it's impossible to get citizenship and dual nationality is not allowed in UAE, It's too hot during the summer, not much anything going on and it's car dependent. Still I would just to live short term and see how it goes cos I got other family in UAE so it's calm. So UAE is relatively safe, finance is good and people are respectful and ideally for rasining kids if you rich apart from it it's whatever visit and just leave again.

  • @T.JVeldens

    4 months out the year the weather is unbearable and you can never get citizenship.
    But like Dario I've had enough of UK, for all the reasons stated. It's time to scout around for a better deal.

    • @darioquacquarelli
      @darioquacquarelli  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Completely agree mate. Weather is difficult in the summer but I see Dubai as a base, geographically centrally located with access to the whole world pretty much. There’s plenty of opportunities in the world, for me and my business, Dubai is the number 1 option right now 😊

    Tax is insane I agree, but personally it just means I stop working after a certain point each year as the incentive becomes too low. On Dubai, it's just one of those places where every type of person who says it's amazing, is the kind of person I don't tend to like or get on with.

    You sound just like me! Countries gone to shit mate. I'm 27 just quit my construction business and have over £300k saved from it and crypto investments. I've been taxed to the gills throughout my life and the effort I've had to put in to get this money has genuinely almost been the death of me. Currently have no income stream other than betting on this next crypto bull run - if this pays off I'm probably off to Dubai myself. I'm in the process of starting an ecom store which I can do from Dubai so might see you there pal. What will you do in dubai, campervans still?

    • @darioquacquarelli
      @darioquacquarelli  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What the hell does inheritance tax have to do with an unequal society? The tax is collected and then used to fund foreign wars, foreign aid, wasted on the huge waste of money that is the NHS, illegal immigrants, backhand deals between politicians. Shall I continue?

      I think personally that is only one side of Dubai. There is plenty of culture once you get to know the right people and explore outside of the palm. Flashy lifestyle just comes down to who you hang around with, there’s plenty of normal people here
