I only have silica gel for drying flowers and want to make jar like this! How can i press flowers ?

Please see this video which has more information about pressing flowers:
th-cam.com/video/lLgpgD_xZzU/w-d-xo.html. You can also press flowers other ways, which I wrote about here: www.firstdayofhome.com/how-to-press-flowers/. Silica gel won’t work well for this project because the flowers won’t be flat enough. I hope this helps!

How long before the flowers fade?

I found that the glossy Mod Podge had better results over time. A lot depends on the type of flowers and glue. I’d go with the glossy decoupage glue now that I’ve seen the jars over time. They could last a few years before fading, I think.

What size jars are those?

They are Oui yogurt jars. I’m not sure how many ounces they are.
