Sustaining Ash Partners Network Kick-Off Webinar Recording

The Guild launches the Sustaining Ash Partner's Network (SAP-Ne) with a kick off webinar to promote a collaborative approach to ash preservation in the Northeast. This webinar begins with an overview of the network followed by four talks with leading experts and knowledge holders, including:
• Dr. Anthony D’Amato, Professor and Forestry Program Director, University of Vermont
• Richard Silliboy, MasterBasketmaker and Vice Chief, Mi’kmaq Nation
• Caitlin Cusack, Forester, Vermont Land Trust
• Les Benedict, Environment Division Assistant Director, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe
Following the talks, attendees participated in breakout sessions, led by program partners from their associated state (i.e., ME, NH, VT, NY, MA, all other states), and shared their perspectives on ash stewardship and resource needs back to the group.
