One of my set of keys would have the speedo and the other one didn’t for like a year I thought it was intermittent but my dealer finally showed me this … great video you will help a lot of people !
yeah that's why i found out about how to do it i had bought the car and then i decided to make a Profile user and it reset everything and i saw my speedo was gone and then found out how to put it back on
The key is tied to a "driver profile" which is why it only worked on one set of keys.
Yeah he needs to change the settings in the second profile to see the digital speedo

I thought it was maybe because they've didn't put the option on the base trim as I don't have DAS/360 Camera neither the Bose system. Can't wait to look at this tomorrow 😁

"Average speed" is activated on my 2015 Q50 but that's all it shows, average speed, it doesn't show any digital speed.
yeah that's what it does if you don't have it i don't know why they added that after so long having the Q50 platform

The 2.0t should have navigation in the video its a 3.0t with navigation if you dont have it might be because your car doesnt have the option

I heard it works in 2018+ models but you can have a try you don't miss anything trying
You can swap a 2018+ cluster into a 2017 q50 model and it will show the Speedo
ohh really ? so that means it's really the cluster that as something blocked to not the display the speed hmmm interesting
@@OnnSight I’m not sure, the cluster was plug and play. And after the install I turn the average speed setting and voila it worked. You can check out my short to see.

@@OnnSight my cluster was like $75 from eBay and the only things you is a need a screwdriver and a plastic pry tool.

I have the Q50 sport 2019 and it doesnt show me anything in the meter seccion any idea why is that?
I think its like an option some cars have others dont have depending on where you live and how its equipped i guess
you don’t have a Home setting on Q50? On the QX50 you have home and it shows your speed and music at the bottom so when you change the music or channel SXM etc. you can see it under your speed.
ohh but i can switch on my gauge cluster to the music but it wont show it while having the digital speed

How do you get the tire pressure on the gage cluster???
you go in the same menu and check the box for the tire pressure monitor it should be similar to that

Because I flipped through the slides of the cluster and it showed everything else but didn't see tpms screen
hmmm weird maybe the wheels you have dont have a tpms sensor or its deactivated

good question hmmm i know that if you press and hold the home button it allows you to adjust the screen but if that doesn't work maybe go in the settings display
Press and hold the camera button next to the shifter it will change from day and night.

depends what your car is set as but i could put it in MPH if i wanted i would have to change some settings but if your car is from the USA it will be in MPH but here in Canada we use KPH

@@OnnSight I just posted a new question that my 2015 Q50 doesn't have it hoping to get some answers, but that might just be it - only the RedSport editions have that digital speedometer feature.
i don't think it's exactly because of that it's also a mix of the year model you have i think some people don't have a redsport and have a 2018 non redsport but fully loaded and they get the digital speedo so i guess it depends on how equipped it is and the year model

@OnnSight well, that's no longer an option for Europe... For some reason, folks around here are obsessed with German cars... And despite the Q50s 2.2d being a Mercedes in a fancy (way fancier than the merc itself) frock still not as popular, so Infiniti pulled out. I suppose at some point tunners/remapers will come up with something (if not already) to correct the shortfall of the manufacturer

I put 511 miles on a tank of gas. Great gas mileage.
yeah they do great ! i do 22MPG for a 400hp car it's good especially on the highway
They have a 20 gallon fuel tank. If you can average over 25 mpg you can go 500 miles. On a freeway trip it’s definitely possible. Good distance but filling up the gas is painful with the big tank of premium.
@@CouchMan88 yeah like you said it's possible on the highway personally i do around 10L/100KM so it's like 23 MPG i don't really try to be economical as you can see in my video's haha but yeah here in Canada gas prices are $$$ but anyway you don't buy these cars to save on gas but just so you know before i had a Honda Accord 2011 V6 3.5L i had almost the same MPG for a lot less performance.

@@OnnSight what is the benefit of sport mode?
there's individual settings you can put for each thing like suspension steering and engine transmission so basically sport mode puts everything sharper and stiff it will hold each gear longer and when you floor it there won't be as big of a delay between the downshifts 😀it makes the car a bit more stiff so there's less body roll when turning a corner so it feels more stable in turns

it depends these driving modes just define what you want to if you want to have a sportier driving experience then it's sport mode on the highway if you are going at normal speeds standard mode or eco is good and comfortable but pretty much every car on the car market now have driving modes and none of those are increasing HP they pretty much all do what the Q50 does engine response and sportier driving
