It really is very satisfying seeing Hongjoong enjoying his time in this performance. I love how he exudes that aura that you will be attracted to him and end up having fun with him.

Honestly their concept is so good and well anchored. Not only they are talking about racism but they are also talking about having your own unique colour, which can be seen on their different styles of rapping but they are of equal value, they used white cuz in theory white is not a colour, but the mixture of all colours in harmony and balance. If you think about light refractory property, there is white which reflects different colours according to the angle, they are first and foremost the same, they just show themselves in different colours depending on their angle which is unique to them. Or I'm just looking too much into it, I don't know lol

from a competition standpoint: - btob for the vocal mission - skz for the rapping (and dance) but from a chemistry standpoint: - skz and ateez are alr friends and skz are buddies w btob - all three groups have a pretty established and comfortable relationship w each other 🥺
stray kids have amazing rappers and dancers. btob have amazing vocals. so its complete to fill all three roles. i think they also considered that stray kids have the largest fan base between six of the groups so its easier to gain love and support from the audience.

Wow, the latter part of Han's Rap was so fast that I couldn't catch what he was exactly saying by my ears even though I was reading the lyrics at the same time. But, today I play it at 0.25x rate, and I can hear that he actually pronunciated all the syllables correctly without missing a single bit. That's just amazing. I can't help but saying wow. It's ridiculous that that is the reason they chose to dismiss Mayfly's win. It's a no limits round. Im sure the other team was allowed just as much freedom in terms of props but they chose not to and that's fine. Mayfly's use of props are to further convey the meaning of their song. Imagine performing a song about the colours of diversity with just white clothes?? LOL My boyfriend is pretty neutral when it comes to the teams, he's a fanboy of 1 member from each team, Han and Bobby. ESPECIALLY Bobby. But he still really likes Mayfly's performance a bit more than Full Dash. It's not purely down to individual talent. It's about the meaning of the song, the chemistry between members of different groups working together, and appealing to the audience. And I think Mayfly did that beautifully.

Hongjoong coming up with this concept.. god his mind and his morals are the reason why he's one of the best in the industry from this generation. He decided to make this whole song about racism colorism and discrimination he wasn't afraid to speak out about it and make it be heard by South Korea one of the most colorist country. He definitely kept his promise about using his platform to spread awareness of things like this I love him and respect him.
the first thing hongjoong did was pitch in his idea of emphasising how racism of discrimination is never okay and that they should appreciate different colours, he really takes every opportunity he gets to send out a good social massege especially this one of inclusion. I'm so proud of him for real

Hongjoong was born to be on stage. His identity is so clear from the trademark laugh down to his composure and style. His artistry and talent are always used in a way that is deliberate and *says* something. He's not interested in just stringing words together with flashy flows just to look cool if the meaning is void. Even the way he looks at the camera and interacts with the viewer, there's something special about the way he does it that I have yet to see someone else manage, he doesn't just draw your eye, he commands it. His swag can be felt through the screen.

Honestly their concept is so good and well anchored. Not only they are talking about racism but they are also talking about having your own unique colour, which can be seen on their different styles of rapping but they are of equal value, they used white cuz in theory white is not a colour, but the mixture of all colours in harmony and balance. If you think about light refractory property, there is white which reflects different colours according to the angle, they are first and foremost the same, they just show themselves in different colours depending on their angle which is unique to them. Or I'm just looking too much into it, I don't know lol

Wow, the latter part of Han's Rap was so fast that I couldn't catch what he was exactly saying by my ears even though I was reading the lyrics at the same time. But, today I play it at 0.25x rate, and I can hear that he actually pronunciated all the syllables correctly without missing a single bit. That's just amazing. I can't help but saying wow. Hope this comeback will become huge and be a great success. He and his group just deserve it so much.

My boyfriend is pretty neutral when it comes to the teams, he's a fanboy of 1 member from each team, Han and Bobby. ESPECIALLY Bobby. But he still really likes Mayfly's performance a bit more than Full Dash.

Hongjoong was born to be on stage. His identity is so clear from the trademark laugh down to his composure and style. His artistry and talent are always used in a way that is deliberate and *says* something. He's not interested in just stringing words together with flashy flows just to look cool if the meaning is void. Even the way he looks at the camera and interacts with the viewer, there's something special about the way he does it that I have yet to see someone else manage, he doesn't just draw your eye, he commands it. His swag can be felt through the screen.
“Agh they win coz they have props” Why focus on props? When you can clearly see talents in the video.... Mayfly did very well, the performance gave impact to the audience. They deserved it.
Guys sry for all the toxic ikonics and deobis out there... i know they all sound like theyre hating on this group’s performance but they’re actually just triggered abt how the judges only commented abt how cool the props and portraits were instead of actually giving comments abt their rap (which is basically wht the performance is mainly abt) [i wont say much cuz I havnt seen the whole ep..waiting for the eng subs]
So now they made it look like eventhgh both the performances had great raps this performance was advantaged cuz it had additional props
And im highly against those who were saying “OMG this show is rigged if bobby doesn’t win the rap unit” even before the ep aired
But to assure you most of the ikonics is just frustrated abt the judging and not hating this group

this was such an emotional and impactful performance. they used their platform to express about equality and many can relate to it. chan saying "doesn't matter black, brown, pink, yellow, white, all the colours of the world, all united we ignite, spelling color with a u, cause you know we do it all for you" and minhyuk's "we bleed the same color" can be associated with gender equality and racism, telling everyone that they can be who they want to be and that everyone should be treated the same is so timely when we're experiencing asian hate, palestenians sufferings, and other conflicts right now, so please don't discredit mayfly they did an amazing job

I just love their "give and take" set-up. Minhyuk let his juniors shine in the beginning, while Ateez and Stray Kids respected his seniority by giving him the spotlight in the end. I wish I could say the same with the fans. Sadly, some are so toxic that they ruin the whole fandom for the others.
Just like when they were writing the song, Minhyuk is a amazing songwriter and composer yet he held back and let the youngsters do their thing and let them proof themselves and they on the other hand respected him by giving him the final decision when making choices
