Packing is always a big anxiety enducer for me. I am always paranoid about losing things in the process (because I always somehow do). I hope this moth goes smothly and as stress-free as possible for you!
This was chaos and the best kind of it with you both. The stomach moment just killed me 🤣🤣 I can’t wait to see your new library once you are all moved and set up!
context the reason Jade has plastic boxes is because she is storing the books and doesn't want them to get damages while they are stored- she will be getting cardboard ones from the supermarkets when she officially moves for her other things she won't just be packing in plastic boxes
When I moved I used all my Fairyloot and Illumicrate Boxes that I got over the years🤣 there were so many of them, but the boxes were handy and not too heavy
I live in Washington State, too. Normally, you just buy the containers, and the lids come with them. Weird! At least you can reuse them when you get into the new place!
Our Ikea in Nottingham has a mix of boxes that come with lids and then some boxes that you have to buy the lids separately - it's usually so you can pick how sturdy the lid is / if you want it to be one of those that you can lift half of up like a little flap? 😑It can be a real pain
Oh yeah, I will do this for the regular things we will pack closer to the time. But because the books are going into storage I wanted plastic boxes to protect them from any potential damp, or bugs or whatever else might get through cardboard!
I am very surprised that you did not unhaul any books this time. Usually when one has to pack up for moving, one generally usually ends up having to unhaul some books at the same time.
B&Q apparently!! Glad I only got two boxes from there and the rest from somewhere where lids were included 😂 but those b&q boxes are super strong and sturdy… so hopefully worth it for the stupidly expensive books I put in them 😅🤞
Packing everything up is so stressful but also so satisfying in a way. Glad you had a friend to not only physically but also mentally help you, ha

Congrats on the new house! 🎉
I live in Washington state and ive never had to buy the lids separately for heavy duty boxes like that.

In Canada we do sometimes
I work for Walmart in Canada and we sell the lids with the boxs🤔

Idk about the UK but I live in Nebraska and you can just go into the grocery and ask them for boxes. They usually will give you a few

Thank you for the realness
Beautiful and amazing video love it 🥰

Love this x
Bless you
The body angles we're getting are chaos incarnate
Thank you 😘
@@alyshak3585I'm glad you're enjoying the angles hehehe
I live in Tennessee and don't have to buy the lids separately. I hope this is not going to become a thing.
bye bye books it's been a good run...
I would hate moving just because i wouldn’t want to have to pack all my books 😂
It was a painful experience 😂
Where the hell did you buy your boxes from where the lid is separate?!😂
B&Q! What a con!!
What kind of a capitalist hell hole of a store makes you pay separately for the lid of a plastic box!?
Not surprised it was B&Q, pretty expensive DIY store and could be why they charged for lids too 💀

Packing up my books and not having them for the few weeks that the shipping container took to arrive at the new place was a painful experience 😭
🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Not sure how I feel about the word “Spredges”
Spreeeedgessss
Kathleen makes you look tall 😂also that is ridiculous about paying that much for lids
Thanks Carrie. That makes me feel so small 😂😂
Packing books to me is the most stressful part of moving because I get scared they’ll get damaged 🥲
