My mother once told me that she read somewhere that even though they may put up a fight in getting their meds, that they also sense that you're doing it to help them. Well gee, you'd think that they'd be more grateful! LOL!
I have the greatest admiration for his self control, I tried to read this to my family and could barely speak for crying with laughter - my Mother had a BIG tabby cat and it was a rodeo to medicate him!
Funny! This echos my situation. I was a wreck for 3 days. My cat foamed at the mouth from the stress and fowl taste of the pill but after the 3rd day of this terrible saga, my vet rang to say stop the antibiotics, she never needed them as the lab results were clear, no bacteria. I nearly fell over. Apart from the money spent on 2 types of antibiotics (liquid & tabs) it was the stress I had to put her through.
I have two cats who hate getting medication. They already run when they see a syringe (those things to slurp up liquid medicine) or smell the pill. Last week they were both ill and it was a disaster. Luckily I was able to get similar pills that tasted nice, so they thought it was a treat. And I found a cat cream that at least one cat would slobber up with the liquid inside (the other tasted it apparently. But when he finally ate something I managed to pour it over the food and he continued eating. Thanks for the laugh though. Imho cats are very much like a cross between toddlers and teenagers.
I’ve heard this before, but it’s the way Mr Egan reads it and the reactions of the audience which had me howling with laughter. Brilliant! 🤣🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

As a cat owner, I must admit that this was one of the funniest things I have ever heard in my life - 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Thats the reason why we love cats😉😻
So funny, I cried with laughter! Not always easy to give a dog a pill ...
And that's just one cat. I had to give pills to three cats! LMAO
