Great to see someone plugging the old reliable fine groundbaits. They were/are great all year round. Won/framed in a lot of matches fishing using the old sigma wand, with small feeders with single maggot or pinkie hookbait on a 20 hook. Switched to sensas equivalent matchblend and canal as these are easier for me to get hold of for now.
Super cup was the mix Marcel was working on when he won the Belgian Supercup final hence the name. Supermatch came a little later when Alan Scotthorne was with VDE created with Bob Nudd. As far as I am aware, the 2 kilo bags will be gone soon, going back to the original 1 kilo bags. Super cup is great when mixed with special, mix it sloppy and use as a cloud mix, awesome for bleak bashing, still used a lot on the continent. If anyone has any questions regarding VDE products, please feel free to get in touch.
Sensas Magic is still go to groundbait during the summer for me. As Alan said, been around for years. I remember the Alga Rouge and the yellow and red ones they did with the bottle of sweet liquid inside. And you could buy Sensas Pidgeon shit years ago daft as it sounds.
These videos are great. Just the guy from Wickersley saying it as it is, whatever the product. Yes he works in retail but he mentions so many brands that you can tell this is just knowledge being passed on and not some commissioned brand hyping which a lot of the sponsored guys have to do. I won’t be using those groundbaits as I don’t do that style of fishing but if I did I’d certainly give them a try.
Sadly then fishmeal and pellets came to the fore. I would say though if you mixed them with a fishmeal groundbait you could be on a winner and or pellets. Would love to see someone take up the challenge on video. Old school vs present. You've only got to look at what a champion Marcel was. Master blender. All those secrets he left us and sensas tried to copy.

Love van den eynde groundbaits. Getting a little trickier to get local to me and still not found anything as good.
