Really cool. I love my 7900 and I’ve only put the heavy duty air filter and done a muffler mod. I have been playing with an 8T drive sprocket with a 20” bar, I have a few videos of it posted
Kinda small log for an 80cc class saw imho- really gotta get em buried with a 28” bar in 24-25”diameter wood to see what’s what. That being said the 7900 seems to be zippier than the 500i and both saws seem to perform as expected when properly built … Personally I’d just use an 064 - and leave the other saws on the shelf 😂
A few pop up here and there but are scarce. Lol, I thought I needed to have that 500i a few years ago. I did some research and ended up with a 7910! Had it Ported by Tree Monkey. I notice a lot of people port the 500i. I didn‘t even come close in expenditure to what a stock 500i costs new, $1509.99 with 24“ bar locally. Adding a longer bar and chain and port job you‘re knocking on the $2K door.
Can’t beat that long stroke on the 7900. Great comparison. Excellent work.
Yessir, thank you!
Knew it was a 500i killer. Can’t beat that long stroke on the 7900. Great comparison. Excellent work.
Thanks man! It definitely beat it fair and square. Strong saws for sure.
You called that one🤣

Wow! You killed it on the 7900. Nice work man
Thanks man!
Good build on both of these👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks buddy appreciate the editing!
It would be hard to decide which one not to put in the back of the pick-up! Nice work on both saws 👍👍
For sure man. Both great saws!
Well dang it. Now I have to have my 7900 ported. 😅
They really wake up ported.
That’s so frikken crazy how close they are
Very close. I couldn’t tell a difference in the hands.

Got the video your looking for, masterminded for mine.. 28" buried in dry hard red oak
Very cool! 7900 fast saw!
Thanks man!
Not sure if they are still available but for awhile you could get a new 7900 for literally 1/2 the price of a 500
Unfortunately they aren’t available anymore to my knowledge.

They looked identical in the cut.
The 7900 just barely edged the 500 out.
Dear friend, when I use a chainsaw, the chain wears out very quickly. Is it because of the running speed of the machine?
No it it most likely the angle of which the tooth is filed or you are hitting dirt.
@@philschukraft89 Is there any way to limit or fix this??
what numbers u running on that 500?
I’m sorry but would rather not say. I can tell you that the intake is at 83 and the exhaust is at 102 and the base/band has been cut.
Are you the Motel 6 commercial guy?
He will leave the light on for us
😂😂 I wish, possibly be a millionaire
