If you are going to launch a big kite like that in winds like that, launch 45 degrees to the side of the wind window. Dont launch directly into the wind window. :)
Hehe, you're nuts to use a 7mtr! I used my Cross Kites Quattro 3.5 for the first time on Sunday at Dawlish Warren beach. Big fun in a 10 to 17mph breeze! I'm 240lbs, but went on my arse a few times, one bruised elbow. After about 30 mins, I swapped to a stunt kite for the last bits of daylight, as I was sweating and decided to be sensible.
Safer way to launch a power kite in strong wind. Stand with your back to the wind. Then launch the kite where the edge of your flying window is on the ground with someone holding the leading edge of the kite into the wind. Easy peasy!
i have some... but with the 7.0 i learned that the kite only rotate 180 degrees and starts pulling the other way instead and i find that to be more dangerous..
I agree with that.... in the really critical moments of powerkiting (maybe a windboe hits your kite wile you´re jumping and takes y 5-8m up in the air) Kitekillers do nothing good to you.... once the kite stalls you fall like a stone ! They only make sense for small kites used by children or for somebody, who is really just standing on the ground kiting ! I never used them.....
when the bullets came out the Blade was by far the better lifting kite. I'd clear 10ft height without any problems which for being a fat ass wasn't bad
ferret1979 I agree. Bullet is a traction kite brilliant for buggy and board use. Blade develops much more lift and float. I would personally use kite killers as well
the 7.0 would be able to safe my life if i had that as my last result like jumping off a tall building or something... it would let me fall down in a speed that i am sure i would survive
@Bluuuudy HeHe well we though it would be more interesting without them.. normally i do wear them when it is very windy, those kite are beasts, got a friend who broke his collarbone on my 2,5 kite :D HeHe
Lets say you don't land you jumps and hit the ground, you drop the kite and as it blows of into the distance wrapping around a dog walker causing serious injury you think to yourself '' now I know what kite killers are for and I think I should have been using them and I wonder if my insurance is still valid without them ? "
Love the Kites, and full grown bearded man with a chipmunk voice, that's confidence! 🤣🤣🤣 loved the video!
hehe, funny voices. You know what good Sound is. 😁.

Love it great job
If you had to, do you think you could parachut with one of these as a last resort?
i have some... but with the 7.0 i learned that the kite only rotate 180 degrees and starts pulling the other way instead and i find that to be more dangerous..
I just got a 5.5 Bullet and it scared me to death in light winds.

Hvad er det for en bil ??:)
I like the 7-8 m2 kites most, but with 2 lines, not four. You can work out your body much better with 2 lines.
good fan ;-) !!!
did you sell your blade 2 on ebay blade 2 4m ???
good vid, thanks. creative
the vid was crap
How long is your kite 7.0
Sweden?
try a 9m Blade next time. bullets were only any good for traction :D
Are they better for lifting? :)

Elliot Sinfield And so you think small kites are bad?
I fly big kites on a bar with safety systems, amazing why people don’t attach kite killers to kites with handles like these. Just safer all round.
I'm his uncle as well
@doinworkson1o1 HeHe... would be kinda weird since i am the gay one :D naaa it was only because we didn´t know how powerful it was going to be :)
HeHe i´m his uncle ;)
I just like you, just without kite
Lets say you don't land you jumps and hit the ground, you drop the kite and as it blows of into the distance wrapping around a dog walker causing serious injury you think to yourself '' now I know what kite killers are for and I think I should have been using them and I wonder if my insurance is still valid without them ? Watch out when handling any kite for that matter
The lines act like cheese wire lol ouch
kite killers are more dangerous
There only small kites
that was so boring
