Joe, John ... we thank you all!!
I got to meet him when he played in my home town where he was to play a tribute to Django Reinhardt at where I worked. Before the show he did a clinic at the local guitar store.I stayed after everyone left. He was gracious to spend some time with him.I showed him my guitar to which is my grandfather's guitar. His performance was awesome. A fond memory of him on one on one.Great interview.
Thanks Michael… Joe
At age 14, my first year playing guitar. My band mates mother borrowed a guitar from a friend for a few days. It was an electric 335 style Hofner. We plugged it in but no sound was produced. We found a small compartment built in it that contained what looked like a huge AA battery. We figured it could be the cause of the problem, but we had no clue where to buy such a battery.
Jorgensen is such a fine musician. To go from playing Django tunes them to Klezmer music is just incredible.
Another great review of one of my favorite guitarists.
once again....Joe...thanks brother for loving the deal...7 big notes and a lifetime on 6 strings.....
This is just excellent, thank you!
Thanks for watching Zeek…… Joe
That was a really engaging, interesting interview. Thank you! It was great getting to listen and watch it all as one piece, too. What a musician! I learned so much from listening.
Thanks again Mairi….. Joe
Good stuff, Joe! Mr Jorgensen seems such a nice person. And his guitar parts on 'He's Back And I'm Blue' and 'I Still Believe In You' are some of my all time favourites. Always wore a good shirt, too!
Awesome interview joe thanks
Everybody talks about GRAM PARSONS, but they forgot that MICHAEL NESMITH recorded far more records in the same country rock style. MAGNETIC SOUTH, NEVADA FIGHTER, LOOSE SALUTE are just some of them ( these are the ones i love) but he had far broader musical approach, he is quite adventureous.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Geza… Joe
@@MusiciansHallofFameMuseum i love GRAM PARSONS too, but i had to give some justice to Michael Nesmith, he's got the stigma of the MONKEES,which is not fair, but we who know how things are, umph, i'm a bit drunk,so i stop. Peace and love from Croatia (so hot these days, summer is in full swing)
@@MusiciansHallofFameMuseum you're wellcome, i enjoy your show because it's not about the stars,it's about the working musicisian.
Thanks Geza… joe

Great interview. I only knew him from the Hellecasters, who I love. I’ll check out some of the other things he’s done.
I got to meet John through Jerry Donahue on a Hellecastor gig at The Palomino and he is all what you see kind very likable and super personable just a great musician and person.
Thanks for sharing Michael… best, Joe

Any chance of getting Ry Cooder a slot in the spotlight?
Hi Millie…. I don’t know… maybe… best, Joe
Yes definately he has done so many different styles, long before world music became a "thing, and to me his work with Flaco Jiminez in particular is magnificent
👍
Twice as nice seeing the entire interview. Laughed at the line about Hendrix and the toad. Thanks for giving us the bonus plan, Joe!!
Thanks for watching Rick… watch my James Pankow interview…. Part two I think to hear James tell the Hendrix stories….. Best, Joe
Who knew - oil, snakes & sewage, lol. There’s many lessons in that.
Excellent interview Joe. What a down to earth guy he is. A true musician. Brad Paisley idolizes him. In fact Paisley talks about how he would do whatever he could to get his sound. Thanks for all this Joe. 👍🏻😎
Thanks again David… joe
