I just received the gold color sabers. I thought my Gold FX hit.
A youtuber had the black ones and maybe it was just his. He said they don't hit out of the box and you need to zero gap them.
Out of the box, the gold one hit better than my zero gapped Gold FX. Sheesh!!!!!

For those wondering the different it’s literally just the blade. If you already have the saver trimmer just purchase the precision blade separately. That blade also fits the Evo Trimmer but it’s super loud! The trimmer is a bit slippery especially if you have any kind of product on your hand. A rubber grip will fix that issue and I recommend using one at least for the gold saber trimmer. I didn’t get the black since I already have that precision blade on my gold one.

So, I should just buy the normal saber and I can purchase the precision blade separately and it should fit on normal saber?
We wanted to offer one of our best trimmers with the stock slim precision blade. This is our only trimmer with the precision blade on it. Again just different options for whatever yall like. You can also just purchase the blade and throw it on any of our trimmers besides the Ace trimmer. It will fit all other trimmers.

@ItsMarvyMarv I mean I'd purchase the blade and put it on a pair of Protege / absolute hitter trimmer and save a few dollars I feel it's more ergonomic and works better with that blade those are just my thoughts. LOL for what that's worth!
I purchased 2 Stylecraft Precision Sabers, both with Gold smaller Precision Blade. Then I went and purchased the 3VERSINCE ES5 blade, which originally was gonna put on a SC Instinct trimmer I also have (have 2 of those as well) but decided to take the Gold Precision Blade off one of my Sabers, zero gap the 3VERSINCE ES5 properly (out the box its way too sharp); once finely tuned zero gapped, the Sabers with the 3VERSINCE ES5 Blade is a MONSTER of a SHARPSHOOTER ; your line-ups will look like if you drew it on your customers head with the utmost sharpness (obviously too, proper line-up skin preparation is necessary). So for me, I will be purchasing another 3VERSINCE ES5 blade for my 2nd Saber and the smaller Gold Precision blades that came with the Saber’s, will be put on both of my SC Instinct trimmer. The SC Instincts, although as great & powerful that they are, they are also way too loud. But going back to the SC SABERS, adding the 3VERSINCE ES5 blades to them makes them not only hitters, they become SHARPSHOOTERS!!!
(Unfortunately I myself don’t create TH-cam videos, I wish someone out there would create & post videos of a Saber with the 3VERSINCE ES5 blade on it so you all can see exactly what I am saying.)

I got these about a year ago and honestly they are better than any other trimmer ive used. The only 2 that compare to me are the babyliss pattycuts edition with the dlc 2.0 blade and my gamma absolute hitter with philthyblendz andis gtx mod.
I think if i modded my evo with a babyliss blade those might end up topping it but havent tried that yet. Im not a fan of the shape of a lot of trimmers so these feeling good in my hands is a huge plus. They were an investment but i really dont regret it. Even the saber clipper i have that i put a fusion blade and stretch bracket on have been solid for 2 years.
Online is always gonna be expensive it’s best to check local barber stores and eBay they have the best prices

My questuon is ... If i only can get one trimmer rn should i get the saber with the regular blade or the one with the precission blade?

Saber trimmers are my go to trimmers. Don’t sleep on the clipper tho. It’s heavy but that 6hr run time is insane
What are your thoughts on this trimmer now?
Still holding strong, I use it everyday I cut. Still quiet, still cuts great. Phenomenal overall trimmer

Got an MRD trimmer from AliExpress for about 130...literally the same thing except for the smaller blade. I have a black saber and a gold MRD trimmer...the same thing. I did put a gold xpro blade on the black one so i dont think this is any different other than it saying "precision" on it.
Are the blades interchangeable? Can I use the precision with the regular saber that comes with the wide blade

$184 is a bit steep for a trimmer, most trimmers aren’t that expensive. I’m also a big gamma/style craft guy so I’ll prob buy them on discount anyways lol
Looks like they needed a way to boost the precision blade sales. They drop the saber with the precision blade and everyone will tell you to just buy the blade... not a bad idea ig.
The battery wont last long charging them all the time.

So it's a white label slim line for more then 2x the price- SC is cool and all but bro--- they put s brushless motor with a thiner blade- the slim line is exactly what you said- now just up the power of the slimline let's call it slimline turbo- people would buy em. Give them some different colors and boom- they have a slimline gtx blade now too- so prob at 85 bucks you can actually get the same thing' 200 for that is wild- what could happen is if this hits- you know babyliss will make a fire fx one thin fx. But if the A team makes it or have you ever tried the PN slimline- that joint lee blessed me with and wow. B.clark did his magic and knowing him he prob cerakoted the blade- no heat ever- 200 for a hand made custom. Bro you have a custom from b. Dude make take min to make what you want but you know it gonna be perfect
