Goddamn, I miss this Phil. This era was the best post pantera Phil. Clean, healthy, lean, still being able to sing AND scream. I even dig his hair haha!
Crazy to think even this was ten years ago...I hope we hear new Down sooner than later, but even then we at least get some new CoC as well.
One of my favorite eras of phil too, loved the trendkill era too, a shame his disposition back then was predicated by heroin and other influences.
I just want him to get back to this state of mind, clean and able to speak and think with clarity, leave the stage persona for the stage, not interviews and press coverage.
Atreus Blackward he’s clean and sober now, he smokes most likely weed tho but hes off the other stuff he was on.

For the one or two years Phil stayed clean around this time his voice was back to being excellent. Lucky enough to see them twice in that period

@@GrimRiffer-69 Yeah, same when I saw them. One of the best live shows I've ever been to. It was in Stockholm, Sweden. Just great times. I met with Jimmy and Pepper before the show at the entrence. Down to earth guys and just gave a great vibe for the whole night

Looks like they're using some Randall RG100ES heads. Not sure about the cabs though. Kirk used Randall RG100ES heads for most of his Crowbar albums and for recording the NOLA album.
