Grace, watching you and Honor together is a delight! I also feel I need to react a bit as a New Yorker. 1) Economy Candy is quite famous, actually, and really good -- surprised you didn't go in, as you love candy. 2) The Whisper Arch in Grand Central is real, but it's not the main lobby -- it's a smaller part outside the Oyster Bar. You really can hear the whispers, though.
ECONOMY CANDY! Back in 2015, I had a play in the NYC Fringe Festival, and our rehearsal venue was right down the street from Economy Candy, so we had a ton of candy for the cast and crew all the time. I love that place. I have a t-shirt with the little kid from the sign on it.

You start all the decorating and Christmas festivities in the UK quite a bit before we do here in the USA. I know it's kind of a huge thing to start "early" in England. There's kind of a "pushback" here in America NOT to "rush" the holiday season because of Thanksgiving. People get quite surly when Christmas decor comes out before Turkey Day! "Enjoy each holiday once at a time" seems to be the accepted tradition.
Just sat down with my morning coffee…perfect timing for the best part of the day!

Christmas in NYC doesn’t generally start until they light up the tree on Nov 30. They do decorate earlier depending on the location but yeah, festivities usually after Nov. Hope you enjoyed your visit!

You should visit San Francisco & go to Ghirardelli Square. And other amazing places! Ohh, ohh, liguria bakery for the best focaccia, go early, they sell out & just close up!

in chicago we used to have a crate and barrel that was four floors high!! a couple years back they turned it into a giant starbucks though hahha

Idk who that is but those sour strips are really good. There's a huge selection of them at the target near me and I get a different flavor every week 😂
@@lavenderoh That's super cool, I've been a long time subscriber of his like 7+ years and he just made a video talking about how he loves that the brand is so much bigger than him now and that most purchases people are totally unaware of who he is.
