Good for Dany! She has been a well respected guitarist and frontwoman for a while. So long ago it started with Rick Toone building 2 special guitars for Dany. Then Mason. Then PRS.
Now Lizzy honors Dany with her personal guitar. Dany, ever so humble, will always remember this, and the other special gifts; which I am sure, she doesn't feel she deserves. I am sure Dany will do the same for a special group in the future. She is a very special woman who is going to show the world the new face and attitude of Rock, just like her sisters.

First time i ever choked up looking at anything The Warning related. Dani deserves it and much more. She strives to be the best at what she does and im sure a lot of female musicians see it in her. I didn't know much about Lzzy before this tour but seeing this and hearing the way she talks about The Warning has made me realize how much of a class act she is. This couldn't have happened to a better person than Dany😊🙏🤘!

Well very nice gesture. Have met Lizzy in Toronto on a few occasions, minded my own business mostly, but she opened a conversation at the venue I work at and was very kind and down to earth. She is exactly as you would expect her to be. Not fake in the least. She honestly wants to know about life in your country, and comes across extremely genuine. Very nice person.

I have always loved Halestorm since I ever heard that first note from them. Then I fell in love with the awesomely talented Lzzy. I always wonder if their would be other women to follow. Then I found The Warning. To see them touring together is the best. Just been working so hard that I missed the show last night in Dallas. To see Lzzy come out and hand her one of her personal Destroyers is a sign that The Warning are here to stay. Rock on Dani, Pau y Ale! 🤘🤘
It's a Gibson 1984 Explorer. Ibanez has a similar looking one, the Destroyer, but I think this is a Gibson. Still, it looks gianourmous on Dany, she looks so beautiful rocking with it tho!
@@silentplanet7219 , It probably surprise some people that it's a guitar design from the late 50s. Gibson tried with this and the Flying-V to come up with some super modern guitars that could compete with Fenders Strat and Tele, that then made the Les Paul seen as outdated and unpopular. It's right out of the spece age, when cars had big tailfins and rocket engine looking taillights. 🤘

What is also interesting is that the Explorer and the Flying V has always been associated with Heavy Metal when in fact, as you said, it has been a staple of all kinds of Rock music since the 50s. It was also big in the 80s scene back in... well... the 80s. Ibanez wasn't the only brand that tried their own model of it. BC Rich, Jackson, Dean, Hammer, Fender, etc had some similar models. It's funny that because the Gibson Explorer is so ingrained in people's minds, everytime most see the shape automatically associate it with a Gibson when in fact the model is carried with plenty of other brands. For my 2 cents, I like the Les Paul over the Strat and never cared much for the Telecaster, although that is a personal thing and not a diss on Fender at all. I used to have a Hammer Explorer back in the day when I actually knew how to play LOL. That is why seeing Dany rocking one (albeit a Gibson, not a Hammer) hits me in the "feels" LOL. I miss playing 🥺
@@silentplanet7219 , I don't think those designs was any larger succes in the old days, it came with the metal scene. Similar to that the Les Paul got a revival when the right rock guitarists started using them. Funny today to think the LP was so unpopular that there were no production in the 60s. Some young rock guitarists then started using them, because they were cheap used.

This was amazing!! And Dany you deserved it!! This was an amazing show and I am so glad you guys are happy! I showed you guys (the warning) to my guitar teacher and he said that he’s sure that u guys are going to make it big someday! Some say is the passing of the torch and I agree, but I'll add that is Lzzy recognizing Dany as an equal and giving her the due respect she deserves and sometimes it has been denied to her. Dany, humble as always, doesn't admit how good she really is at what she does (and how much of an amazing frontwoman she is and she is not even close to be done yet) and how important she is becoming in the world of music. It is good that Lzzy decided to remind Dany of these facts with this gesture. Lzzy is part of The Warning Army! Big tears of joy, it's about time! Dany, you are an amazing singer, guitarist, frontperson and human being and don't let anyone... no one... say otherwise! By the way, for a moment I saw a mini-James Hetfield (Dany is so tiny!!!) playing Queen of the Murder Scene there! LOL Now... if it is not too much asking... a duet between Dany and Lzzy of "I Miss the Misery"? 😂

IMHO, The guitar solo of QoTMS is one of the 50-top solos all time, and their best solo so far
It is an amazing solo and I agree, to me is the best of Dany (although she does have other amazing solos like The End, When I'm Alone and Exterminated) but QOTMS is top of the line!
