Marconi's most notable achievement was the first transatlantic wireless communication in 1901, which gained him widespread recognition and secured his place in history.
In terms of recognition, Marconi received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1909 for his contributions to wireless telegraphy. However, Tesla's supporters argue that some of Marconi's key technologies were based on Tesla's earlier work and patents. In fact, in 1943, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Tesla's patents, including those related to wireless transmission, overturning some of Marconi's patent claims.

My Inventions is a good book to start
Not practical, electricity is not like WiFi we don't just use it to light bulbs or charge phones. Just imagine how much energy will be needed to transmit 220 volts in just 200 metres of range. And how will you clear people out of the way.. Unless you have something like laser to transmit focused energy, wireless electricity will be a cool gimmick for inefficient short range devices..
