  • I take a road trip from Port-Au-Prince to Grand Goave...a small beach town around 2-3 hours drive. With me is the owner of the house I rented..he is going to meet with some business partners.

      I like the surounding hills and the views I'm sure they offer but they could clean the place up a bit.
      I see no shortage of abled bodied people--men who if they gave a damn could do something for their country.

      a few traffic lights ,stop signs and pedestrian crossing lines would make things better. See that I 'm helping ,we, civilized people call it "common sense". it's not opulent but it looks good

    The same exact saying is in Jamaica abbot how many Chinese shops determines the economy or how rich a town is!

    Video is too long with not much to show when there are so many beautiful places in Haïti yet to be explored. This video is total waste of time.

    None of the traffic lights were working. People driving however they feel like--that alone insures that I will not visit this country.

      Tourists should stay in the resorts and mind their business. If going out stay with a tour group. That's how it's done in the Caribbean.

    • @SantiagoGeffen
      @SantiagoGeffen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So basically you're judging a whole country by its traffic instead of paying attention to its nature, people, beauty and all the good things it has to offer. You're pathetic.

    • @DarrylBass
      @DarrylBass 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SantiagoGeffen let's be honest, ALL of Haiti is a mess.
      They could have a beautiful country but they choose but to.
      Natural beauty and kind people have nothing to do with poor infrastructure. One has nothing to do with the other.

    • @DarrylBass
      @DarrylBass 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mkesmoke I don't do tourist things when I visit a country. I want to experience what the people that live there experience.
      I would not want to experience driving through an intersection with another car speeding through it at the same time.
      If you want tourists to bring tourists dollars then it needs to be safe for them to do so.
      By the way, tourists rent cars and drive from one destination to the next. Ava not all of the Caribbean is a mess. Some islands have acceptable infrastructure some don't.
