I know people criticize Art as a host and want Pangina to be the main judge, but I think that the dynamic that they have works well. Art functions as an anchor for the show, always keeping things on track and grounded. This gives Pangina the freedom to have moments like this, because she's not "THE" judge she can let herself loose and speak to the queens more as a peer. The host can't yell at the queens because it sets a different tone for the competition, but her "little sister" can do whatever she wants. I think Art has always been a solid host, she's got good chemistry with the guest judges, and she doesn't say much but what she says is important. That said I think she's been floundering somewhat this season, I don't see her connecting with this cast as much as Season 1 so she doesn't quite know what to say to them.
Oh they are asking her to show herself more. I LOVE how these judges communicate! I feel like heart shows through the critiques. America has a LOT to learn. Thank you again for these vids

Seeing Pangina on UK vs the world is so so good no wonder why she's the host of Drag Race Thailand because she knows what she have and she has something to prove to the world she takes critiques from RuPaul and improve herself from it and seeing how she gives criticism on the girls on her show is so so real and helpful.
Both Art and PanPan show that they genuinely care about the queens and want them to improve and reach their fullest, you can tell by the way they speak to them.

Bandit to me is like the Pandora Box of Drag Race Thailand, with better runaway looks. No matter how well she does, there is always another queen who does slightly better.
I'm only seeing this after her elimination and I'm kinda mad that she's been "overlooked" like that. She honestly deserved better. I understand that they want personality, or "soul" on the runway in order to have a better understanding at who Bandit is, but at the end of the day, everyone has their own drag, and it's her right to express it through being a ""model"" with amazing runways. Moreover, she'd been killing the challenges, so it's not like she was only relying on her runways. Bandit is probably one of the most polished queens (or dare I say, the most polished queen?) the show has ever had, and she would have no problem competing in RuPaul's Drag Race. I ADORE this scene though! It was so GOOD!
She lacked character and emotion in her presentations which ultimately kept her from winning. Her model aesthetic may work outside of Drag Race but as RuPaul said in season 10, when you come into a competition like this, you're forced to rethink everything that's gotten you by in drag outside in the real world. What worked for you there may not work out the same way on Drag Race.
I think she is taking more from a Valentina moment. When she wanted to keep her mask on kind of mood. When Ru said she was thinking Valentina would take it all the way.

Literally Pangina's point is that you can have all the money, all the polish in the world but if you don't have soul or a heart you won't win. Angele may not be "polished" but she is hysterical and has a sense of humour and direction. That can't be bought. Week 1 for baby drag she came out in towels. That's so fucking smart who hasn't used a towel and pretended it's hair before. That's what they're looking for. Heart. Character. Not just money

Say what you want but Bandit is a freaking beast, she's amazing and given the chance she would take over the world! We need Bandit on All Stars so she can teach more people about * FASHION *. I understand what the judges were saying, Bandit was missing a little bit of the charisma, but so did Violet Chachki and she still won season 7. Both are unique, talented and have the nerve, they're bold in their fashion choices and Bandit did great in the acting challenges too. At the time when I watched this episode, I thought that Bandit not going to the final was to give a chance to Angele to win. Angele destroyed the competition, that's for sure, but Bandit was close to the win a lot of times! Kandy did great but there was no way she would win over Angele, and Kana needed to show a bit more, so obviously Angele would win. But it would be more iconic if Vanda and Bandit were in the top 3. But anyway, I'd love to see the Thai queens on All Stars, including Angele and Natalia. But maybe the world is not ready for their amazing talent and skills!
I actually get the reasoning here, but at the same time as I understand it Bandit was worked with Art before. Unlike Raja on season 3 of RPDR, this is basically where no matter what Art wasn't going to judge Bandit the same way as the others.
Pangina is 100 correct. Bandit is good model she is the best on presenting her costume but she shows less personality and character to what the assignment is.

Honestly, I understand what you are saying but if you enter a competition and you want to win, you have to be willing to break out of your comfort zone and break the barriers around you so that you can learn and be better. In a competition like this, you have to show soul, you have to have a personality. The winner can't be all about looks. She has to be able to deliver and sell herself to people because as a winner, you represent the show. If you don't sell, nobody will buy. She is a look queen and we respect that. But if she seriously wants to win, she has to sell her looks to the judges. She has to tell a story about what she is wearing or doing in order to interest or wow the judges. Nobody is telling her to change. They are just telling her to deliver more than she is bringing. If she wanted to stay a look queen, there was no need to join drag race. Because drag race involves other things too besides looking good or beautiful
The only thing I don't like at all on DRT and it's Just a minor thing: you notice the connection to their shows "The face thailand" etc. And it's almost more like a model and design competition instead of Drag and personality (besides fashion). I love how different ot is to the US version but I wouldn't like to see it drift too a kind of "Thailand's next drag Supermodel".but that's just sometimes that I get that feeling.
Yeah I get that feeling too. Literally 2 queens won the maxi challenge yet still went home because of a "questionable" runway. It's like they're favoring fashion queens more which is kinda unfair. The show is amazing but they really need to fix their criterias.

Bandit didn't win any runway challenges because basically what they are saying is like what Michelle said to Plastique (I think was Plastique) that the dress is the only thing walking and there was no one wearing the dress there was no personality on the dress she was selling
Admittedly I didn't understand half of what was said in this discussion but the English critiques make it sound like they were way too harsh on her. She shouldn't conform to their idea of who she has to be. Especially considering she was one of the most memorable queens to me because she slayed every single runway.
But i think thai drag race s2 is more real than other drag race all over the worldd.. the winner is based on that day not really push on someone storyline...

I'm not fluent in English but I try to understand that it's a bilingual person thing, maybe it comes out naturally and the speaker even not noticed about it.

The only reason why Bandit did not win yet because anyone else did it better. I really love what she has done. This is her aesthetic and I think she should not change it to make judges happy.
Exactly that, just that. It has nothing to do with her character honey. Telling her that her character doesn't comes out through her performances during the competition is way too far. Say what you want but Bandit is a freaking beast, she's amazing and given the chance she would take over the world! We need Bandit on All Stars so she can teach more people about * FASHION *. I understand what the judges were saying, Bandit was missing a little bit of the charisma, but so did Violet Chachki and she still won season 7. Both are unique, talented and have the nerve, they're bold in their fashion choices and Bandit did great in the acting challenges too. At the time when I watched this episode, I thought that Bandit not going to the final was to give a chance to Angele to win. Angele destroyed the competition, that's for sure, but Bandit was close to the win a lot of times! Kandy did great but there was no way she would win over Angele, and Kana needed to show a bit more, so obviously Angele would win. But it would be more iconic if Vanda and Bandit were in the top 3. But anyway, I'd love to see the Thai queens on All Stars, including Angele and Natalia. But maybe the world is not ready for their amazing talent and skills!

I actually get the reasoning here, but at the same time as I understand it Bandit was worked with Art before. Unlike Raja on season 3 of RPDR, this is basically where no matter what Art wasn't going to judge Bandit the same way as the others.

Pangina is 100 correct. Bandit is good model she is the best on presenting her costume but she shows less personality and character to what the assignment is.

They're not saying that she shouldn't be a model, they're saying to be more then a model. To have a personality. They don't expect her to be cracking jokes, its just right now she's more like a mannequin
Honestly, I understand what you are saying but if you enter a competition and you want to win, you have to be willing to break out of your comfort zone and break the barriers around you so that you can learn and be better. In a competition like this, you have to show soul, you have to have a personality. The winner can't be all about looks. She has to be able to deliver and sell herself to people because as a winner, you represent the show. If you don't sell, nobody will buy. She is a look queen and we respect that. But if she seriously wants to win, she has to sell her looks to the judges. She has to tell a story about what she is wearing or doing in order to interest or wow the judges. Nobody is telling her to change. They are just telling her to deliver more than she is bringing. If she wanted to stay a look queen, there was no need to join drag race. Because drag race involves other things too besides looking good or beautiful

The only thing I don't like at all on DRT and it's Just a minor thing: you notice the connection to their shows "The face thailand" etc. And it's almost more like a model and design competition instead of Drag and personality (besides fashion). I love how different ot is to the US version but I wouldn't like to see it drift too a kind of "Thailand's next drag Supermodel".but that's just sometimes that I get that feeling.
Yeah I get that feeling too. Literally 2 queens won the maxi challenge yet still went home because of a "questionable" runway. It's like they're favoring fashion queens more which is kinda unfair. The show is amazing but they really need to fix their criterias.

Bandit didn't win any runway challenges because basically what they are saying is like what Michelle said to Plastique (I think was Plastique) that the dress is the only thing walking and there was no one wearing the dress there was no personality on the dress she was selling

Admittedly I didn't understand half of what was said in this discussion but the English critiques make it sound like they were way too harsh on her. She shouldn't conform to their idea of who she has to be. Especially considering she was one of the most memorable queens to me because she slayed every single runway.

But i think thai drag race s2 is more real than other drag race all over the worldd.. the winner is based on that day not really push on someone storyline...
