Been looking for cloning trees advice for ages lol uploaded videos of my mini off-grid garden and boom here I am , will this work for all tree's especially fully grown ones ?
@@MakeItorBreakItNow Thank you as your outcome is what I expected due to the use of the plastic bottle around it. The use of moss versus potting soil is another culprit.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow I bet you will have more luck. Moss is so acidic it actually burned it up as I have done similar before and the outcome looked like yours as if I had lit a fire on it.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow my family owns pecan orchards and I have never seen this work. Air layering sometimes works, but it is difficult. Planting a pecan or air layering is your best bet if you want more trees.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow make sure and use pecans from a new crop for best results. An older pecan may work but depends how old. It has to be a healthy pecan to begin with too. I take and soak them in a paper towel for a couple of weeks in a warm area to see which one has potential. The pointed end will split if it has potential . This does not mean it will turn into a tree either. Plant the ones that split open and see if they sprout into trees. Good luck!
Great video, very informative, Thanks for sharing 👌💕
You're quite welcome. Thanks for the feedback.

maybe, its not always easy, timing the growing cycle is a key to success.
Do you ave a update video on how the cuttings turned out?
Anthony, yes, here it is: th-cam.com/video/Cdtu7avnD84/w-d-xo.html
Very clever idea, which technique worked best?
plan to shoot the video soon, stay tuned.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow so did the cuttings root?
@@malourocha9211 Not as well as I anticipated. I've gone back and learned a couple of things and plan to try again in the spring.
@@MakeItorBreakItNow I don't see a follow up video
did any of them actualy grow roots if show us
Planning to shoot the video soon.
Yeah I wanna see
no ways
i can grow from pecan nut but i failed to get acutting to root i did root catalpa tree cuttings easy
Do you need the rooting powder
In this experiment the rooting powder didn't seem to make much difference. I might try growing for seeds next and see how that compares.
Alovera works well as well as honey if U don't have rooting hormone
When are you doing an update I like this video
Still waiting for an update
Any updates?
Yes, not so good...
@@MakeItorBreakItNow me too! Better luck next time tho. Just have to keep trying
You never made the update video comparing the two it seems.

@@generalawareness101 was just following what I saw others do, next time I plan to use potting soil as you suggested.

@@generalawareness101 we'll, see. Now you've got me thinking about next spring and trying this all over again.
update?
Chrimson Sand, here it is: th-cam.com/video/Cdtu7avnD84/w-d-xo.html. I'm working on some new ideas for growing trees from cuttings, stay tuned.
nothing will work out: those cuttings every one will fail: you simply have to cover every cutting with plastic: and take smaller cuttings
Johan, thanks for the advice, I'll certaily use it next time.
nothing will work out waist of time
thanks for the feedback, sometimes nature surprises...
I'll predict this did not work.
Blue Demon, any suggestions on how to improve the results?

@@bluedemon79 planting a pecan nut has worked for you?
@@MakeItorBreakItNow yes sir.
