Tim Curry singing 'God Bless Us Everyone' with the cast of A Christmas Carol from the 2001 Broadway production. This is from the 75th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 22nd 2001.
I remember seeing this play on December 16th, 2001 with my parents and my Aunt. Tim Curry was magnificent and when I left the theater I was smilling so hard I almost broke my jaws.
That was one of macys best float production numbers ever!!!! That float should get an academy award for. Design music adaptation performance and any other category you can come up with !!!!!
Oh wow ! Tim Curry play Mr Scrooge of "The Christmas Carol" in Broadway. Tim Curry loves children like a good father , that is so touching , I am think I gonna crying how this is too beautiful . I didn't know Tim Curry played Scrooge on stage. I remembered him voicing Scrooge for a 1997 animated movie. I like that one, and this looks really good too. Sad I can't find a soundtrack for this on TH-cam though
I actually did find the soundtrack. It isn't a track with Tim Curry as Scrooge, but it's the same show featured in this video. I think the whole soundtrack is posted by DarthWill3 as "A Christmas Carol: The Musical (1995)". Also, I found out that this Christmas Carol show Tim Curry played in was the same musical that was adapted for that 2004 Hallmark TV movie with Kelsey Grammar as Scrooge.
Holy crap ! that New York City thanksgiving day parade it was in november 2001 two month after 911 Oh my god ! this is too much. I think this song "God bless Us everyone", I don"t know how Tim Curry could survived with this song , because the terrible disaster of 911 , september 11 2001 , specially Tim Curry sing in New York . incredible ! I saw this as a kid. It was amazing. I saw for a few years straight. Tim even greeted us kids and so did the guy playing Marley.
