I've been blessed by God with the gift to worship playing the drums. When I first started, I didn't know a single worship song.
The first Sunday I played with the worship team, with no rehearsal on my part, the Holy Spirit flowed through me, playing every song like I've played them my entire life. Songs I had never heard before, and I don't read music.
For me, I fought tears every Sunday as God filled me with His love and spirit, as I didn't play the drums to perform, but in worship. I was and am still honored and blessed to be part of our worship team, 27 years now.

Before you take the stage to minister, your heart must be sincere. You are leading lives into one of the most sacred places that exists, their souls, the innards of who they are and who they are in the presence of their Creator. This is one of the greatest privileges as a musician, and a leader of worship. Worship is not only music. It's an attitude of the heart of praise. You can worship anytime. Be sincere as you lead your audience into sincerity and truth.
This is what moves your mountains.

Awesome. I like putting a pad on in a certain key and just sing what comes from my heart. This really does help to be a little more free in worship.

I just love how during his prayer Paul almost began crying yet he composed himself due to the recording. It would have been an intimate touch if he would have cried and let the presence of God take over…

The Holy Spirit has been teaching and helping writing song for the past year now and I couldn’t understand why those lyrics were popping in my head but now I just had the revelation that the Lord has called me to worship ministry . Try to do that in small groups to get more confident. Also, observe and listen to what your worship pastor / leader says when he/she leads worship. This can inspire you and give you ideas on what to say and how to lead your community :) I hope this helps!

Thats why no worship leader who is not reading the bible,... a worship leader who still loves hearing worldly songs cant lead effectively...... worship leading is not " just "
