I remember when this store was a Parisian. It was so beautiful, well organised, and just amazing. Even nicer than the Nordstrom at Keystone. But then Carson’s came in. Sales dropped, and the niceness of this store vanished. The only thing left from Parisian are the beautiful railings and nice floors, which now have cracks in them. The Bon Ton has never been good about properly maintaining their stores. So sad

They should have just put a new store in carsons place now the mall will go out of buisness for sure because it is just offices

OPM1961 this store opened as a Parisian in 1995. It became Carson's in mid-2006
Actually, Bon-Ton operated this store (and the rest of the Parisian chain) under the Parisian brand until 2013, when they lost the rights to the name.
Strange how the elevator at what I assume was always a Carson Pirie Scott is almost exactly the same as one that was built by a non-Bon-Ton company

Montgomery-KONE was on the phone door. Installed in 1995.
I think the best way to tell is by the escalators, that's how I found out the elevator at my nearest former Parisian was a Montgomery.
