I prefer Lucas' current Mother 3 design but his Earthbound 64 design is awesome too. It's cool that was the design they chose for this mod since it was in development around the time Melee was released.
Both Wario, his stage and the Lucas model all seem to be directly ported from that one Brawl mod that was cancelled, Smash 2. I wonder if the same team is behind this Akaneia fork.
Can you Imagine if Earthbound 64 was never canceled and it got released on Gamecube instead? I wonder if they would made it how he looked in the GBA game or the same but improved look on the model.

It's the original version of Lucas from the cancelled Earthbound 64, a game that was going to be on the 64DD before we got the Lucas we know in Mother 3
Yeah, his model was supposed to be like Earthbound 64-ish of sorts, some improvements are needed here. But still, they made some good effort on other stuff in Turbo DX.
That's honestly an insanely disrespectful and not helpful comment, the devs do this for free and instead of actually giving a decent suggestion on how they could improve a model which I'm sure took them a lot of hard work and effort, people go ahead and do this, if you don't like it then that's cool, but be respectful towards the work of the devs, and at least try to give some actual points on how they could improve their work, that way they can take notes and try to fix things.
You're right, I apologize for that. I guess the hair on this version of Lucas feels off to me since I'm so used to Mother 3 Lucas. Everything besides not getting used to PK Freeze on this Lucas is fine to me. Maybe if the hair was adjusted by a little bit would look good? I'll probably get used to it either way. He's fun to play.

While they do look similar, the newcomer models are not the same ones used in smash 2, but it does look like Wario's Castle is a direct port.

That stage is called Celestial Valley, it's from Kirby Air Ride.
It's a brand new stage from Turbo DX.
