You're great at explaining these acting methods, and thank you! I'm not an actor, but as a public speaker, you help me realize even more on how important it is to look and sound authentic when speaking. This is something I'm currently working on improving, more particularly when I'm doing a video. Most people in public speaking don't teach this, so it's certainly good to hear it from an actor's perspective.
Awesome to hear all this! Public speakers can learn a lot from acting. Just as actors try to tell stories, public speakers do the same thing. They are trying to bring the audience in and engage in an enjoyable presentation. Many people I know have drastically improved their public speaking skills, simply from taking acting classes
Lots of interesting things on your channel for actors regardless of their experience level! I've been acting (primarily theater) for the past 30 years but I'll be the first to say I have so much to learn, and I love to grow :) One constructive criticism I have, and this was after looking through several videos- it would be great to see more examples of female actors (or actresses, I have no dog in this fight, haha) for range. Helpful in general, but particularly for those of us who are actresses.
Hey quick question is the 10 hour master class just a list of videos or is it smt else and are they the same as going into a in person life acting class?😭
It’s a 10 hour masterclass created in a very specific way to help the actor improve from the comfort of their own home. You can work at your own personalized and designed pace and use implementable tools to advance your acting skills. Many actors either use the masterclass on its own or in conjunction with another in person class. It solely depends on the needs and wants of the individual :)
Forgive if I sound dumb, but I've seen actors using the 3 tools to act, but all it looks like is "on paper acting". With that I mean, without emotion layer, for me it all feels flat. I'm very aware that I'm watching a person on a screen. Their acting feels calculated, it's like I can see them think what to give. And that makes me disconnect with the actor in the movie/series
I released a video where I focused heavily on voice acting....but I still haven't gotten any constructive criticism on it, me being the creator, I obiously think its alright....but my opinion doesn't matter--if anyone's interested ur feedback means a lot to me👄

I don't know what is good acting but I seeing it to know what is bad.
Yes, we don’t question good acting, but we do question bad performances
Acting good or bad is based on context of the world the character is in and it brings you into the world
I am an upcoming film actor and watching your videos has helped shape who I am as a storyteller.
Very glad to hear it Justin! 👊🏼
@@TheActorsAcademy absolutely! Keep posting great videos, I will not forget who I learned from first 👌

As weird as it sounds but I do a lot of monologuing when I normally talk 😉
I dont know how to bring up the emotions the same way as I felt once.
This is why documenting our emotions to recognize when to bring them up again is a very important tool :)
one of my emotions and traumais bullyingand drowning @TheActorsAcademy

@@TheActorsAcademy ohhh Alr thanks and thanks for replying as well😭
A good acting is a compelling act, a bad one is fabrication.
It’s always easy to tell when an actors work is either good or bad

how dare you put ADAM driver in the thumbnail, sir
😂😂😂
I was triggered by it I was like how dare you then I realize it's a thumb nail
Adam Driver has to be the worst actor I’ve ever seen-
Good acting is when another actor believes it?😂
Close. When a performance is good, we (the audience) don’t question it, when a performance is bad we (the audience) do.
Acting good or bad is based on context of the world the character is in and it brings you into the world
