This is exactly what my mom and my aunties did to me when i was a baby, and i feel secured, save and sound, close to them. Really love jarik because of my good childhood:)
For you who do not know what is this, the cloth name is Jarik. It has function as traditional Indonesian clothes (probably Malaysian as well), on the other hand Jarik also can be used for this, to carry a baby. And it's like part of our culture..
Yes it can slip, but as i have ever tried that (as a baby) its so comfortable and warm..
Edit: okay maybe some will think how i could even remember when i was a baby, yeah.. i dont even remember how i was born either. Maybe, there's one time i was 'big' enough to remember a flash memory that makes me happy or sad🤔-- like remember playing with lil chicks or remember a bad dream
