⑨ Ceria (♀) Born on November 19, 2014 at Yokohama Zoo Zoorasia. Raised by hand. Arrived in Tama on December 25, 2016 with her mother Valentine. Julie is the surrogate mother and takes good care of Ceria. Valentine returned to Yokohama on March 25, 2019.

Am I right in what I think just happened? Did Loki just mate his mother??

Young males often "mate" or practice on their mothers. He is not sexually mature at this point, however. It's more likely Kiki is in estrus again for the first time in a long time, so Loki "mated" with her. It's pretty clear she has eyes for only Borneo in this video. I can't recall if Borneo fathered Riki and Loki. Riki has grown to be a very impressive male and is in residence with a single female orang at another zoo.
