Wonderful video!! Thanks Sarah. I'm going to make sure my wife and daughter see this one.😊 Looks lovely. Very different to Australian beaches. It looks more my kinda place. Regards Rob
Hi again Just made another video visit to Cleethorps. This time with my wife, daughter and surprisingly my son. They thought it looked great. Very different from an Australian beach, but in a good way. One thing that surprised all of us was how far out the tide goes. Our local beaches look almost the same at high or low tide. I wonder if that's an English/Australian thing, or maybe just a local difference? My wife loves your accent. She tried doing a Lancashire accent while watching the video - rather well actually. But not as good as you. You've had more practice. Thanks again Rob
Yes My wife (Tonia) her parents are first generation. Father Italian and mother Scottish. We've been together for 35 years. My family have been in Australia since the second fleet. Some more recently, but a very long time. Although my sister in law and four nephews are Aboriginal, so they obviously been here a lot longer. I knew a lovely old guy named Ted Hardman. He grew up in Oldham. So I was fascinated to see what it was like. Yeh I'd love to live somewhere cold where it rains a lot. Sort of the opposite to here. And lots of history and old buildings. Regards Rob
should have gone the the old market place and gone to Ernie Becketts or steels for proper local fish and chips, would have been 10 times better than what you had there
Cleethorpes is not in Yorkshire ffs!!! Welcome anyhoo, shame you went to the Wellow - terrible food as you discovered! We hope you had a good day regardless. Nice vid x
Minor quibble, but don't let anyone in Cleethorpes hear you say it's in Yorkshire. It was Lincolnshire when I was a kid, then changed to Humberside, and now it's North East Lincolnshire again.
I’m from cleethorpes and the bar you went in was a Woolworths when I was a kid , and the wet fish shop was the best around, oh and definitely lincolnshire x
Hi Sarah how are U x ..... Cracking video haven't been too Cleethorpes for years not changed much .... Do U do cemetery vlogs still if so any chance videoing as Sheffield oldest cemetery please cheers Andy xx
