- Sharpening a saw can be one of the most "difficult" tasks for a woodworker. I built this guide for sharpening hand-saw teeth at the required relief angles, for both rip saw and crosscut saw.
Inspired in an old tool from 1987 hard to achieve (at least where I live) and using materials available to any person, I show you the step by step to make it by yourself.

bueno veo que hizo un buen trabajo con la creacion de esa herramienta guia, que por lo que veo es una buena forma para ajustar la igualdad de dientes del serrucho(asi lo llamamos acá), ahora supongo que hará un video para darle el filo a cada diente, ya que estos tienen filo en forma de cuchilla y no asi como lo deja usted en el video. Bien me gusto su maquinita y gracias por que asi haré una igual, felicitaciones y gracias por compartirlo

Hello, Very nice job on the saw sharping guide, what is the length of the part that sets on the saw blade and the length of the guide that holds the file? I would like to make one of these for myself since i can not find one for sale. if you have plans for making this I would be interested.
