1:15:08 - "Earnhardt's seventh, or rather, Schrader's seventh in the points, 350 behind Dale Earnhardt, so he only gave him five." R.I.P. to Bob Jenkins, the man who introduced an at-the-time eighth grader's five seconds of TV fame. Sadly, two thirds of the best TV booth in NASCAR has now passed away.

so around 1:23:30 kyle petty brough his car in after he got damage earlier. and i guess there were some exhaust fumes in the driver compartment, that made him sick and a bit woozy, so he just kinda stopped the car half in and half out of his box...they went looking for a substitute driver...but couldnt find one...so the King volunteered to do it, grabbed his helmet and suit and everything...and nascar told him no...how u gonna tell the King no?
I always liked the early Saturday race in July. You could see things going on around the track, not just on the track. I'm not a big fan of all the night races. Bristol night race used to be special. It was one of a kind and always sold out. Now it's just one of many and it's not a big deal anymore. Too much of a good thing.
This was my first Nascar race. Took my dad for Father's Day and it was a blast. Dale Sr won!
these old cars sounded so good. I love it.
They also looked good, which is more than I can say for the present day cars.
Because they had about 850hp compared to 650 now.....
Amen Brother, deep throaty small block chevy's sounded soooooooooooo good.
Elmo driving the field under caution smoking a cig. Wont see that anymore
I think that Gordon kid is gonna have a great future

On the other hand, "Richard Petty Gives Himself Carbon Monoxide Poisoning" wouldn't do NASCAR's PR department too many favors
The sound of the days of HP gone by.
Thank you SMIFF.

I remember it starting before noon because it was so hot. The only time you could feel a breeze was when those cars came by!
" All the night Races" Have you watched NASCAR in the last 5 years? the 2025 will have the most night races in the time...3
Dale Earnhardt, I believe finished dead last in this race last year. What a difference a year makes
Another 2nd place for Marlin. Always underrated.
Fun Fact: Ally Brooke was born 4 days after the 1993 Pepsi 400 occurred
Roush engines were time bombs back then.
