What a trip! Early, bumpy, rainy, scary, & funny! It's like a roller coaster, scary movie from the Wayan Brothers! We'll done, glad you are closer to home..and us! 😮
I worked in Corpus Bay for 20 years, and my Dad worked out there for 50 years, running the wells and platforms. I can tell you some stories about rough weather. I've enjoyed your trip from my living room.😂 Hope you have a safe trip back.
I am so happy I found your video as you were heading south from Matagorda. You in my neck of the woods and I have never see these views before. I've begged my son to take me for a boat ride in the ICW. I love birding and I go to Aransas Nat;l Wildlife every year just to watch the Whooping Cranes. You should be able to see them yourself if you get a little closer to the shore and use some binoculars. They are so large and majestic. The ride was so enjoyable to me to see the other side of all the places I go. Just never seen it from the water side. If you ever come back to Corpus make sure it is on the first Friday of the month. Downtown puts on an Art Walk and people are all in the downtown streets. Some free entertainment and cool art and foods. So fun. Saturdays there is a market days by the Art museum. People are allowed to do a walk over the Harbor Bridge. One of those things you just gotta do once in your life. Lots of nice houses out on North Padre Island and lots of boater like you live in those canals and at Christmas time they have a big boating La Posada parade. So fun. Right across from Port Aransas is Saint Joe island and you can pull up to a dock and go sea shelling. No cars are allowed over there and they have large beautiful shells you can pick up. Well, ya'll have a great trip back home and again Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
@pattiwhite9575 thank you so much for all your info. Sounds like you love the birds like me! I live watching them for sure. I want to go back to Corpus when the weather is better for sure. I appreciate you watching and thank you so much for such a sweet mess!
Great video! We didn’t make it out fishing this weekend because we were doing Black Friday sales and home improvements. Me and Pam have a bet on how much fuel cost was so we definitely look forward to that answer. 🤪
Enjoying your videos , thanks for including y’all’s maneuvering away from the dock. As you know this can be stressful moments in boating. I’m learning a lot from you on ICW travel on your westward adventures. We are from S.Louisiana and travel East to south Florida and the Bahamas but we are always in big waters , the ICW traveling looks nice. Thanks for sharing.
@brianrabalais1783 it's a nice relaxing way to travel some time..lol.. some times it's stressful like you know im sure. Thank you so much for watching. I can't wait to east! If we lived closer that would be the way to go for sure
Sorry about the window leak! We have some Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure on our boat. Sealed our leaky windows right up. You are welcome to try some.
Pink Bird is a Rosette Spoonbill.
@@pattiwhite9575 omg thank you for telling me! I was so amazed! It was like out of a movie!
Pink bird could have been a spoonbill. We have them in Florida.

Roseate Spoonbill
You need an inverter for your coffee and other small treats.
@miked5563 captain just said he thought about that!
Sounds like you guys need new batteries. They barely started
@@travcon8 could be, I think they are tired .lol and cold
Those are actually porpoise not dolphins. Very close kin.
Omg you guys, riding right outside of the channel is the worst place you could be. They typically put spoil in those areas and it's really shallow.
@@travcon8 I guess we got lucky. Lol
