That was so nicely done.its such a really good song, and you play it so well. I've never seen Ray play it. What a time so long ago. Ray was such a creative guy! Thanks for that!
Thanks. I think it's the nicest looking but not the best performance. Every time I play to that song I hear it a little differently. You should take a shot at it so I can figure out where I'm going wrong.
Wow , great job man! This video hardly has 1500 views but it's so nice to see that your all of your Doors related works are made by a fan to other fans and you have yourt heart in them. Keep up I've been watching your Doors covers for a couple of days now and they are so great. : )
Thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure why but the Break On Thru video (which was the 1st and simplest) has tons of views but the others hardly have any in comparison. Doesn't matter, the right people seem to find them. Hopefully I'll have another one out soon.
Wow you are right, I haven't even checked the views on the Break On Thru cover but it has 35.000 views which is pretty amazing. I guess everyone loves that groovy and badass cool organ section. :)
Coming from another film maker and keyboardist, this is the best Doors tribute I’ve seen. The cinematography is spectacular and gives me such a cathartic release. I’m getting a Fender Rhodes 88 key and have been looking for the chords for this for so long. I’ve been slowing it down to follow your fingerings. Thank you so much!
@@chrisnicini834 Thank you! Those shorts are rather old, I actually haven't updated my TH-cam in a while and definitely need to. I've come a long way since then and am currently producing my first feature-length stop-motion animated film based in the 60s. I've attached a link to my Instagram which contains various one-minute time-lapse production videos of the sets and characters being fabricated. I'm now working with more permanent fabrication elements such as silicone, ball and socket armatures and resin to name a few. It's funny because Jim Morrison has a cameo in my animated film; I sculpted, casted and painted him and am currently working on his replacement facial expression sculpts. The time-lapse of the head sculpt can be seen here- instagram.com/p/BloqxG6H2MV/ , and first photos of the painted head casting here- instagram.com/p/Brb5AZuhJfo/. I'll also be posting videos of the Rhodes on my Instagram when I pick it up tomorrow. instagram.com/harrison_killian/
No, there's no sheet music for this song that breaks down each instrument. I just chipped away at it forever and after watching it again I see I get it wrong in a few spots. One video that really helps is this: th-cam.com/video/_sl_OmoEXRo/w-d-xo.html It's an isolated electric piano track (with a little bleed) from the song. Hope that helps!
That Wurlitzer is the true queen of the highway - awesome version, filmed like a real Morrison fever dream 💭

Your videos playing The Doors are amazing!
The Production on this video is stellar. You could easily make music videos.
Wow, thanks for that. I finally figured out a way to combine my love of cinematography, vintage keyboards and The Doors.
All your videos are excellent in every detail. The angles you take for the camera are the best. Break on through live would be a special treat!
+APU105 Thanks for the nice comments. Here's my latest, a Matrix Inspired Crystal Ship:

I missed that one. Queen of the highway is not played often! Beautiful Wurly as well!

I find this extremely well done, Chris. Congratulations!
Bravo well done!
Absolutely gorgeous video. If i was able to make videos like this id do so everyday. Kudos
Wow, thanks. I appreciate it the kind words.
Great job! Sounds cool.

Thank you, appreciate the comments. Good luck with the Fender 88, I have a 73 and love it. I like your claymation videos, very cool.
