Just so you know, dear Bulgarian learners, this is a beginner video and these are definitely not all the grammar tenses we have. There's 9 verb tenses in the Bulgarian language.
Now I can real Slavic alphabet... Then I move to another level to master vocabulary.... You tube and Facebook help me a lot.... thanks so much my dear sister .... from far away....16 hours flight the distance between our country... But I am falling in love with Bulgarian language...I really love it
Thank you soo much! Honestly, you are the only teacher I can hear and learn with! I loved the video with the verb "to work" how you explained it, examples, etc. sooo great! I can hear it 5 times in a day hahah. Thank you so much.
Heyy i don't know if you'll see this comment since you've uploaded this video almost a year ago - but i really wanted to tell you how much your videos helped me ! I was struggling with grammar and this video of yours here helped me more compare to other stuff I've looked into.
I am uploading videos more often now so you can ask questions if you have. Sometimes, beside on personal circumstances, I may upload videos less often but I am keeping the channel active. :)
Incredible!!! I finally find a pretty great video about Bulgarian, this language will help me to learn Russian vocabulary more quickly without declensions and discovered a new beautiful language where that the Cyrillic alphabet comes from. Thanks a lot!
it's like learning another romance language. Truely amazing. e sounds just like é in portuguese, and we also use the verb to have to say ''there is'' .
You're doing astonishing job.. very useful and educational... low views tho.. I hope the Bulgarian government is paying you cause you do worth it Мпого благодаря Учителка
Just a word about words that can be nouns or verbs. Example in English is: I am at work, and I work. In Bulgarian the word работа is the noun for Work. But you can conjugate it as a verb for various persons. I work: You work: He works: We work: You (formal) work: They work: Работя. Работиш. Той работи. Ние Работим. вие работите. Те работят So it's not a different word in English. But in Bulgarian the ending determines the person doing the verb
Just to show you how different interpreters would translate this (Бяхте ли на почивка?) running it through the Bing Translator (Microsoft) produces this in English (Were you on rest?). If you put in the word Holiday in the translator by itself, the translation is: Празник. See explanation at 8:04
21:33 that's more like "will be opening", it's the continuous tense. For the simple one we change the а to о - ще отвОря, ще отвориш, ще отвори, ще отворим, ще отворят.
33:40 it is the same but it's an outdated word and no one really uses ut except for old people or maybe in certain regions, in villages and small towns. You can say "веднъж, дваж" - once, twice. But you can't use it in a sentence in the place of "two times"., we always just say два пъти"
One remark: “студент” is not an equivalent of the word “student”… “student” is translated as ученик (if it is a boy) or ученичка (if it is a girl)… “студент” means a student studying at a university..
Any reason for using one or the other words for "shout"? When I put the English into the Bing translator: I shout. You shout too much. The algorithm produces the following output: Викам. Крещиш твърде много. Is there a reason why one would use one or the other?
@@jassenjj oh I see. Because I put “on Monday and Tuesday I have lessons” into Google translate and I got “в понеделник…” but I thought it should be “на…”. This makes more sense, благодаря много!
Excuse me, I would like to give you an advice about your teaching method. The lecture was so fast it made me hard to understand everything. It would be much difficult for non slavic speakers to learn.
bad explanations, right in the beginning it says personal pronouns, you= ti, then while it is still pronouns second page it again shows you as 'vie', no explanation? it does the same thing with verbs, not explaining what is difference between first screen and second screen why you are is ти си and then suddenly Вие сте bad explanations makes it hard to learn an already ilogical series of conjugations, please explain why it is different so people can understand when to use which form. eventually I figured it out, when it came to verbs past tense, suddenly she mentions the second screen is plural, i think they just forgot to put it in for pronouns and verbs and it was very confusing. for something that is already hard to figure out, things like this make it even harder
Thank you for the time you spend to write the lengthy comment. Maybe you should have invested that time to watch some of the other videos so you can find the answers to your questions. This video is not meant to explain all the grammar for only 45 minutes.
I took the time because if I struggle with it other people will too, you obviously know your subject so well you wouldn't notice something small but critical missing because to you it is obvious, I am explaining to you to help you too, to explain what threw me when I tried to use your video, if you do not appreciate feedback fine, but dismissing feedback because I should study other things to make this make sense is illogical for a video that is an introduction to the rules of grammar, so before I watch the introduction I must first master it, OOOOOr maybe when you make a list just show it to someone who doesn't speak Bulgarian and see if it makes sense?@@bulgarianlanguageacademy2587

It's better to say ''Много Ви благодаря, учителко!'' or even better ''Много Ви благодаря, госпожо/госпожице!'' You have to use vocative case here.
Would love more on grammar please, I love your content ❤

For the expression "To be"
Да бъда. (Ти ще) бъдеш. (Той) да бъде. (Ние ще) бъдем. (вие) да бъдете. (Те) да бъдат.
