Now what happened here? Red gained an advantage when they did a better job placing marbles and weapons. The thing about those weapons is that they destroy marbles, not buildings. So over the course of the early game, Red was able to beat Blue back with marbles. However, Red's expansion ended once Blue was able to concentrate its cannons which as mentioned before, stop marbles which were driving the expansion in the first place. The thing worth noting is that Blue didn't start to beat Red back until the anti building cannons were available. What really gave Blue the victory was their focus on those cannons. There weren't available until almost halfway into the game but they gave Blue the upper hand. It enabled Blue to destroy buildings faster than Red could make them, allowing for expansion.
It's funny to see how Blue only lasted that long because the reduced area allowed for a more densely packed building pattern. Also, it lucked out in gacha algorithm by pulling a lot of building destroyers once they became available. By the time Red the area to make a similar dense building pattern, Blue already had too much Building Destroyers. Outstanding Move

The marble stealer was underwhelming, in my opinion. I think you'd have a better match if it were replaced with a marble-generator powerup: Have a small bin in each corner with a single marble and a gate, and when that marble hits the gate, all generators on that side produce a marble. Then, when a marble-generator powerup is claimed, add a marble to that side's corner bin, so their marble generator buildings produce marbles more often.
