My daughters room is in complete disarray and I’m at a loss on how to help her…

My husband passed away 10 years go this month. He prayed all the time. All his free time he read the Bible. To the extent that I became invisible to him. But he also was addicted to pain killers and spent any money not going to bills and groceries buying a lot more than his Dr gave him. A couple years before he died a friend of his dying of cancer gave him 100 of his pain medicine which was extremely strong. I found him foaming at the mouth. We had been married over 25 years. I was so tired of it. Othet than that he was such a good man. He served his country fir 20 years. And was one month away from retiring from the Sheriff's Dept. When he died. He claimed he believed in healing but he would never accept healing from his addiction. I had prayed for this man from day one. I lead him to the Holy Spirit and got him out of the straight backed the holy sprit was just for the desciples beliefs he'd been taught. I was so happy. He was so happy. But there was the addiction. I was so tired. When he took that medicine and nearly overdosed I was so angry. Angry at God, at Jesus, and at my husband.
I haven't gotten over it. I love all three so much and that's why it hurts so much. Why. If all three loved me then why. I don't want to feel this way. I don't know how to unblock my heart against them. I haven't been able to pray since that day. Not even for anyone else. I feel that my entire existence has been for nothing. That I'm not worthy enough for my prayers to be answered. Because they have never been. No even in my childhood when I believed so much that Jesus is my savior. I read my Bible all the time back then and my Mama explained to me the things I didn't understand. She was a great woman of faith. I saw her prayers being answered.
From the moment my brothers began to molest me my prayers have not been answered. I tried as hard as I could to live by faith like Mama. It just didn't work for me. I don't want to be at my deathbed still angry. I don't want to still spend days crying feeling so deserted. I don't know what to do. I'm ashamed to tell this to anyone at any church. I know they would judge me because that what church people do.
Please pray for me.
And can you help me? I promise I really want help.
In those 15 years I have lost memory of every verse I ever knew. I remember verses here and there but couldn't tell you where they are to save yours and my own lives.

I pray you will ask God for a refreshment of faith in your life. It is nothing to be ashamed of at all, we all need this prayer from time to time and I am just so thankful you came on here. This is a good thing to ask God for! I know that the pain and trials of life can sometimes make it so we do not even feel like praying. But that is exactly the time to pray. I am so glad you asked for prayer. Because there are people on here who really will pray for you and intercede for you. Jesus said in this world we will have trouble, But to take heart, He has overcome the world. (John 16:33). I use to wonder what that verse meant. I prayed about it and have found that if we really just make the choice to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, he will strengthen us in our faith, he will deepen our love for him. Just by coming on here and asking for prayer it is evident that you want to push through this anger and sadness and live a life of joy despite all that has happened. I am praying that Jesus touches your heart in the coming days and revives your faith. He loves you so much, and he understands the hurts of your life. A lot of people on this forum do as well. I am praying that every stronghold of anger, of feelings of unworthiness, of feelings of being deserted are replaced with God's Truth about YOU. He loves you with an everlasting love, you are precious in his sight. I pray that you open your Bible and just start again.....just start again and pray that God's truth will saturate your heart. You are so loved. I will continue to pray. I ask anyone reading this precious woman's prayer request to please take a moment to pray. You are loved and you are being prayed for! Pray without ceasing that God renews your spirit, that you will walk in a fresh new relationship with Him and that you know you are never, ever alone!

I went through it. It’s good to be prepared. Keep busy doing interesting things. Change gears. I didn’t go in our sons room go three months. By then I was fine. Also, I learned not to expect him to contact us regularly. He was busy. I learned to adjust and be grateful for whatever attention we received. We called him or texted. When he saw us, he lived us. It’s just a whole new chapter.

I know it can be so frustrating when people take up for our husbands, but then I realize that yes, it is possible that we, women, can be over-bearing at times. 😄 I remember when I first got married, I was always complaining to God about my husband, but one day I heard in my spirit, "If you can't be grateful for anything else, be grateful that he sanctified you!" I have never heard God's voice that stern before that, or ever since, but, needless to say, I got the message! ☺️ The best life lives are lives lived giving thanks in all circumstances! I was a thief since age 5. Oh boy. I was a clepto for sure. I came from a poor dysfunctional home. I eventually got caught stealing bannas. They scared me so bad. They let me go. I stopped after that at least for a while. I knew I was addicted but did not know why. I was a slave to sin in many ways. Age 15 went yo reform schoo!. But I still stole on other ways. Such a sinner. Jesus,saved me from myself!!! Love when you girls are together. So sweet real genuine gals.

LOL 🤣😆 - you just reminded me of my sister and I when we were about 10 and 11. We stole some chocolate macaroons from the supermarket (well... My sister did - but I was happy to consume the goods). And on the way home we were fighting about holding this packet of macaroons, and there was a little wrangle and a loud voice "give it to me! I stole it!!". Very proprietal... LOL. I lived vicariously and she always tried to get me to steal the goods but I never quite had the courage until I was 16 and I managed to snarf a purple velvet blouse. LOL kids and damaged emotions! 🙏

As a light hearted song, your band should do "Wedding Bell Blues" by the 5th Dimension. Marilyn McCoo is a strong Christian who was their lead singer. Starts like this: "Bill, I love you so I always will". She has been married to Billy Davis for 50+ years, who was also in the 5th Dimension. Seems the song worked along with the Lord. That's my two cents on what I would call Billy.
I’m impressed that you have thought about the name business..if you check your heart honestly you will know that it is a potential problem..and why would you want that ..A few of my clients that I do leadership coaching have anxiety issues the are dealing with and have been unaware of their subtle need to control situations and possibly people…being present and examining ourselves and the potential impact on others helps (by the way I not saying you are a controlling person..just pointing out we all have blind spots)…God bless you Chyna

Your story is sad. My step niece repeatedly broke into my home and stole over $50k worth of items, including gifts my husband gave me- including jewellery. She would break in when I was away on holidays and when I was at work. She especially loved to take anything that was brand new….all newly purchased items from vacation. She was sent to a private school and wanted designer things. Parents covered up what she did. Sadly this has permanently ruined my relationship with my husbands family. This is the greatest loss. Kids need to be held accountable for their actions especially when they are over 18.

I about fainted the 1st time I saw "Cinder-fella" in action. I couldn’t imagine that Billy Baldwin washes dishes! He does many, many other tasks, too, and even helped their children with homework when they were in h.s.. Chynna cooks amazing food. I wish I cooked as often & as appetizing of dishes!

Awesome Brooke you will do well and thrive in New York. It's good to go out and explore the world when You're young. I remember when I left the nest and moved to a big city from a small town I was a bit nervous to start but after I established a good routine, had some cool friends I loved it!
I stole heaps of things too clothes,makeup,hair products, l repent everyday to Jesus,of all my sins,stealing just one of them. I have always loved clothes, now l just seem to be able to afford them,no more stealing. A friend of mine in beauty school (senior highschool) drove a rabbit convertible. I drove my dead Dad's old Valiant 😂 I wasn't into brand names and didn't care what others said or thought!! Praise the Lord 💜💜💜💜
It just amazes me how you three sound great together even if you're singing funny. I've been there done that. When you steal something you have to have a good memory. So if someone asks where you got that from your story is always the same. For me I had a lot of emotional issues I was going through. I would never do that today. One of the things I've learned is not everyone is a child of God. There are those who have a barrier up. Only God knows if it will come down.
