Watched this video a few years ago. The music used for it was very nice and fitting. Just come back to it and see that TH-cam is still allowing draconian piracy and copyright claim software to challenge everybodies right to use music under fair use practices. Very sad. Hope they fix this one day (I won't hold my breath). But any event, this is a wonderful layout. Truly a masterwork of ingenuity and layout design. Hope you are still running trains!
loved your trains & layout. so many different buildings- great. you did a great job and showed us many wonderful toys that I have never seen in America before.
I had some wonderful Maerklin stuff, given to me by an uncle in 1941 in Germany, 3 Locomotives, freight, mountain and express engines, had additional cars from a wind up set, since three rail track in war time was not available my dad cannibalized some wind up two rail tracks to make tree rail tracks. He also built me a wonderful station and control tower. Ahhh those child's memories.
The music was cool i felt as though I was in an old bar in Berlin hoisting a cold Lowembrau while watching the beatiful German girls walking by the layout is genius. I loved it!
Herr Doctor Ludens: Your layouts, collection and videos are FANTASTIC. Everyone loves them. Please do post more. It's Tinplate at its best... love the music too. JohnP, Toronto, Canada
Hello, I enjoyed every bit of this video. There is a true fascination for these model trains of 70-80 years ago. I played with a krokodil and I was truly impressed with how mechanically well it ran. I will send you a video response soon after.
Ach du meine gute! Sehr gut! Love the music! Love the old trains! way to go! Tell me...is that a display case on your garage wall of Hot wheels Redlines? I love trains, but i also love the Redlines! Again, ausgeszeichnet!
FYI, there is no sound for viewers outside (I assume) Germany and/or territories covered by its music licensing authorities. You may want to upload a version without music if you have not already.

No - it's not Marx. Is it Fleishmann 1940?
