Oooooh, this is immediately going on my wishlist. And I really should look into more of these condensed 18 card games. It was your Rove video that led me to your channel in the first place after all
Yeah, Nightmare mode appears to be the "real" game and the other modes are fairly easy. The puzzle works great and offers room for some clever plays. I really enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
Been watching your vids for a little bit but just wanted to say how clear and brill they are, especially this one. Big fan of 18 carders and the simply solo line - still need to play this one a few more times to see where it ranks and how much I’m gonna want to get it back to the table (!)
Interesting I’m waiting for this to arrive. Sometimes you just want a little game to scratch an itch. This seems simple and a neat little puzzle with a bit of randomness thrown in. Thanks for the video.
Yeah, that is exactly what these Button Shy games are great for -- little fun puzzles to break out once in a while. I like having a small collection of them so I can rotate through and not overplay anyone, since these are small microgames without a ton of variability. Thank you for checking out the video!
This is perfect for that. Very small footprint (especially if you use a die for the lighthouse health! Some of the Button Shy games actually need a fairly large space to play -- I would kind of love travel versions of ROVE and Sprawlopolis with tiny cards. That would be handy sometimes. Thanks, Steve!
I don’t know if you get any sort of referral bonus, but after watching this fantastic playthough, I ordered the game and both add-ons! So thank you for showing me such a fantastic game!
I'm glad you enjoyed the playthrough and I hope you have fun with the game! No, I don't get anything for these videos except for a copy of the game in this case. Thanks so much for watching!
It's another fun little puzzle game from Button Shy. I enjoy these and I'm happy to show them off on the channel from time to time. Thanks for watching the playthrough and I hope you enjoy the game if you to pick it up.
Glad I could introduce you to a new game. So many Button Shy Games come out it is hard to keep up with all of them. But I try to play all the games in the Simply Solo line. Fun simple puzzle game. I like to have a few of these for late night play. Thank you for watching the video and supporting the channel for so long!
My instructions don't teach me that i could add the nightmares as traps to my hand when defeated. One i had no hand, the nightmares took me over. It was not fun. I figured i was playing it wrong, so I'm glad i watched this video. I just don't know why my instructions don't say that.
Thanks for featuring this game, Shaggi! I hadn’t heard of it, but it seems interesting enough to at least PnP it. Do you think it has the staying power of Rove or Sprawlopolis?
No, it doesn't have the staying power of ROVE or Sprawlopolis IMHO. Those are in a class all their own. This is an interesting puzzle game to break out occasionally, like most of the solo Button Shy Games. Which is all I need from a microgame. I will add it to the collection of microgames to rotate through when I want a quick puzzle. This one has the advantage of having really simple rules and a very very small footprint. Thanks for watching!
Great video, thank you! Question: do the nightmares attack until a trap is defeated? E.g. i have a trap, it has three health and survives. The next one has one health, do the nightmares get to attack that one? The rules state “if the trap is not defeated, the nightmares attempt to defeat the next trap…”.
I love the art in this game but didn't back it because it seemed too easy to win. Have you tried playing on the Hard or Nightmare settings? Thanks for the playthrough!
I find Nightmare to be a real challenge and is the only setting I'd play from now on. But I often hear how the things I find hard are actually easy, so don't go me! :) I also hear that one or both of the expansions make the game harder, but I don't own those. Yet. Thanks for watching!
At 7:06 doesn’t the far right card attack and defeat the far left card, because it has range of 3? You discarded the left card before that far right nightmare attacked correct?
5:54 Should this not have been only able to have been able to attack one to the left? It had two skulls, but wasn't that the attack strength not the attack distance? Great, clear videos, all the same. Love the zooming in on relevant points, sections. 👍
The number 2 on the left of the two skulls is its range to the left. So it had the range. And the two skulls are its health, not attack strength. Everything always attacks for 1, unless a special ability changes that. Thanks for watching!
Very well done..👍 Really my style of video.. I made a video about The Last Lighthouse on my channel a few months ago as well.. It’s incredible what 18 cards can do.. Have you tried the expansions? I’m definitely going through the other content on your channel..

My copy is on its way! Always enjoy seeing your videos on my feed. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Morga! I'm always happy seeing your comments on my videos! I hope you enjoy the game when your copy arrives.
you are the man i just received this last week and i haven't brought it to the table and of course you do. Keep it up thank you for always posting
I hope you have fun with the game when you table it. Hopefully my video will help. Thanks for watching!
This has become my new favorite Simply Solo game. I play this exclusively on Nightmare difficulty mode and love the challenge it provides.
Yeah, Nightmare mode appears to be the "real" game and the other modes are fairly easy. The puzzle works great and offers room for some clever plays. I really enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
Aye, this is a buy for sure. Love these low-key solo games. Thank you for the video.
Yeah, they are fun to have around when you feel like a gaming snack. I've enjoyed this one a lot. Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked the playthrough. Hope you enjoy the game once you get it tabled.
My copy just arrived today. Thank you for showing, how it is played
I hope you enjoy the game! Thanks for checking out the playthrough!
That was so cool, I watched it twice.
Hey, double thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
I am now even more excited for my copy!
Great! I hope it arrives soon and I hope you enjoy the game. Thanks for checking out my video!

Thanks for the video. Excellent production, as usual.
I appreciate that! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
I just got this. Happy to see you play through-always helpful
I'm so glad you found the video helpful. Thanks for checking it out and I hope you enjoy the game!
One needs a few of these when on a plane. Good conversation piece with those travelling with oneself. Neat!

@@TotallyTabled Yea I was thinking of the size of those chair meal fold out tables.

Fantastic little game. Thank you for sharing that. Love your channel. I didn’t even know this existed.

💀🤘🏻Thank you! This looked great when I initially saw, it looks even better now that I have seen a play through
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for checking it out!

If it helps the instructions are on BGG (in English).

Great tutorial and GG!
Thanks so much for watching!
good video. I've played it 3 times since I got it a couple of days ago. Enjoyable little puzzle.
Yeah, I agree. A nice one to pull out for a quick, simple puzzle. Thanks for checking out the video!
Looks like fun. I'll have to print this off and play it 👍
Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching!

Yes, they only hit a trap they can defeat, so they will keep trying until they defeat one. Thanks for watching!

They only attack one trap each round, the furthest to the left. Thanks for watching!

Yes, I get it now 👍 Thanks for the clarification!... I'm new to this one & getting ahead of myself. Most definitely am a subscriber now!
@@lettuceprey No problem. Thanks for the sub! I appreciate it!
