BJ stands for Boaz and Jachin, which are iconic of the pillars for the Temple of Solomon; these pillars are often depicted on the Tarot Card for the High Priestess Arcana. That's why you saw them on Makoto's collar in p5 as well.
In the original game (FES) the timer started when the train started moving, and you had 8 minutes to get to the boss and beat it. (There were also more shadows inbetween that time.)
It was actually really easy, the boss was a joke in the original probably because of the timer. They really upped the difficulty in reload for pretty much all of the bosses, this fight on merciless is pretty brutal
@@Mikey_573 That is true. I was watching another youtuber playing the original and the boss didn't have the Invitation to Chaos move to lower the time. She took more damage from attack as well

do you ONLY get money from shuffle time? I thought it just increased the money you got. Also you still earn treasures from breaking items and some enemy drops, which you can sell for big money anyway

@@SamTheMarioMan There's an easy way around this, just use any skill card you like right then and there. I'm very late to do this, but better late than never. The Shadows that appear on full moon nights all represents the inverse values of its respective tarot card in their appearance AND actions. Including the one we encountered in the previous full moon, we've encountered the Arcana Magician and the Arcana Priestess. (Cited from the Megami Tensei Wiki) Though we never faced the Arcana Magician in combat and it only appears in a single cutscene, the Magician Arcana represents concentration, resourcefulness, action and creativity. And when reversed it represents manipulation, poor planning and untapped talents. This is shown as the Shadow has no face to wear its mask, and as an extension, no head to guide its actions. Composed entirely of arms and hands, the Arcana Shadow has no purpose other than the relentless desire to manipulate the world around it. Aside from holding more power, it is no better than any other Shadow, mindlessly dogging Akihiko to the dormitory even as he ran away. The Shadow's full potential remains unrealized as it has no reason to direct its efforts towards enlightenment. For the Arcana Priestess, the Shadow that appeared on this full moon, the Priestess Arcana represents someone with knowledge and wisdom, while the reversed version of it means someone unable to use that knowledge or someone not able to make decisions. Thus instead of confidently standing like the priestess does in the upright position, it instead lays on the ground sloppily. The B and J on her breasts are taken directly from the Tarot card. They represent Boaz and Jachin, two copper pillars, which stood in the porch of Solomon's Temple.
One day... One day we'll get to see Akihiko in battle... One day... Anyway, time for my favorite sections of P3. It's a different twist on the usual 'do it at your pace' format they usually have in these games. I might be biased but I certainly favor having the deadline set and working towards it rather than messing up the pacing like In the previous games.
You should make sure you read what she says cause 25:00ish you got an all rare shadow floor and she told you about it, I think you completely missed that detail.

I love this boss. I think Persona bosses should implement time more just because every move counts and is important. I still think this boss is one of the more tense and interesting bosses in the game.
@@SamTheMarioMan Yeah I think Okumura's Palace problem is that it's just waves of enemies that you can't use All-Out attacks on. I never minded it but it is way worse than this boss handling of it
@@SamTheMarioMan Okumura's problem was more of a bad difficulty spike than anything else. It was pretty reasonable for a midgame boss, but the bosses you beat to get there didn't require as much effort or thinking, so it feels almost unfair in comparison. I agree this one makes much better use of its time limit, though. It just hits that nice balance that it forces you to act faster, but it's early enough in the game that it avoids being too strict.
