These lights are continuous video lights, but also strobes. Really cool advance in the space.
Love the idea of a battery powered studio quality light that I can bring out in the field.
I'll typically be using this with a simple shoot through umbrella for the most portability.
These lights are small and easy to bring with you.

As a strobe the Stella Pro S on *FULL POWER* = to a Godox Speedlight *@ 1/4 power* .It's too bad (initially I was very excited!) but it will have to be a pass for me especially with their high price tag.
first off these look amazinggg, definitely fill a hole in the current market offerings. I'll almost definitely try one in the future. Secondly... that all black peak design looks amazing. Might have to get (another) one

I’m so upset by this. I just completed my “mobile” lighting set up. I heavy duty C Stand, a Wescott fj400, two beauty dishes- one white and one silver, two light weight light stands, a flat reflector panel and a u shaped reflector panel. All inside one travel golf bag. It weighs a ton and is a hassle (im in nyc and take public transit). It was the best I could do, until I saw this video. For around the same cost, I could have had this. If only this video came out 2 months sooner.
why would you use a c stand on location? and this lights are completely different animals than a dedicated strobe like the fj400
@@samarianosans why not? I don’t have an assistant and it holds it steady even everything but 15+ mph winds.

no, when burst it goes off and then goes on again, but you can use it in continuos light + burst (flash + 1 stops) or just flash
Hello Taylor, is having 2x Stella Pros enough for wedding use or do you also use a Godox V1 & AD200, is it powerful enough to light up the room in burst mode for wide shots of centerpieces & decor inside larger wedding venues? Thank you and have a great day!
I haven’t had enough reception experience with them yet to make the call. Weddings still slow to come back for dance parties in Canada (or at least where I’m at)
